Going last prolly due to the sure involvement of the Rock. It makes sense tho because HHH/Taker doesn't have the storyline buildup to be main event

Well, hopefully Rock will interfere and cost Cena the match, allowing Miz to retain and setting up a Rock-Cena match at SummerSlam or even Backlash, if they don't want to wait till August.

Well, hopefully Rock will interfere and cost Cena the match, allowing Miz to retain and setting up a Rock-Cena match at SummerSlam or even Backlash, if they don't want to wait till August.

I would love to see this happen and lead to the return of Hollywood Rock.

I've thought recently that if they were smart, and if The Rock is willing to do a match, that they should do it at Backlash.

Lots of people are going to buy WrestleMania no matter what. Giving The Rock a match at Mania, while it would be cool, doesn't do much for you financially. But if you get The Rock in a match at Backlash you'll probably get a lot more people to bite on actually paying money for it.

I say that, though, having no idea what Backlash's buy rates are normally like.

Vince is gonna want the $$$ and the best choice for that is Summerslam or maybe WM 28 which is in Miami.

While in reality it may seem smart to do it at a lesser PPV, if you properly build the match up and advertise it would do better at the bigger PPVs that are farther away

That's Extreme Rules now. It works pretty well since Backlash was generally specialty rematches anyway.

I don't think many people are thinking that. I'm not. But I do seem him sticking around for like a month or so after Mania, probably doing some sort of match with Cena, and then leaving again for years and years.

Because right now I can't think of a way to wrap this story up without a Rock/Cena match.

Of course he's not gonna be a full time wrestler again. Does not mean him and Cena cant have a match down the line.
