    ***SmackDown! 4/13/07 Live Discussion Thread***

    Preview:
    Eyes On The Prize
    April 13, 2007

SmackDown’s General Manager Theodore Long has changed Friday’s main event.

No longer will Finlay & Hornswoggle team up in a Handicap Match against Mr. Kennedy. Instead, Finlay and Kennedy will team together to face the team of World Heavyweight Champion Undertaker and his partner, former World Champion – Batista.

Tune in Friday night to The CW Network at 8/7 CT to see how this main event change will affect SmackDown.

The WWE Tag Team Championships will also be on the line when Paul London & Brian Kendrick put their titles up for grabs against Deuce & Domino. Can London & Kendrick continue their historical run as the WWE Tag Team Champions, or will Deuce & Domino dethrone the champions to claim their first taste of WWE gold?

Also, General Manager Theodore Long will kick off SmackDown with a huge announcement regarding the tri-branded pay-per-view Backlash. What will Long have in store for the Superstars of SmackDown

I just got watching SD. Another good show.

One thing that pissed me off though, at Wrestlemania they only give Benoit/MVP eight minutes, yet tonight they give them more than 20. WTF? They should have had this match at Mania.

I know people say Benoit could wrestle a broom and make it entertaining...but I still have been impressed with MVP. He had another good outing this week. Probably a very good move having him work with Benoit as well, good learning experience. Hopefully they put the US title on him at Backlash. I'd rather have midcard titles on potential future stars than declining uppercard guys.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Excellent match and better than the Mania match, which is saying something because that match was good albeit too short.

I'm sold on MVP. His matches with Kane were the best Kane had in months, if not years. I've seen some of his FIP stuff and it was good; he defenitly has a bright future.

As for this edition of SmackDown: it was a good show.
