The E dropped the ball on MITB IMO...
Why in the world would you have Edge squash Kennedy to win the MITB? I KNOW Kennedy is injured, but they really should of went a different direction with this. They shouldve had the Great Kahli come out to the ring and destroy Kennedy like he did with the main stars last week, in order to give Kennedy a major "injury". Kennedy could of made his big return at WM24 to surprise everyone with MITB being cashed in just as the main event(whoever it wouldve been) ended. That IMO, would of been money...i know the real reason why they gave it to Edge but those are spoilers and I just think they couldve went a different direction with it. Opinions?XBL: DTX3

I think the problem is how severe his injury was. He may not have been able to work more than a squash match. Maybe WWE didn't want him to, because they planned to push him and they don't want to jeopardize his long term health.NBA: New York Knicks

Kennedy's injury sounds pretty bad. People at the house show on Sunday say that he worked through the injury but you could tell it was really bothering him.
Even on Raw you could tell it wasn't good.
I didn't like seeing Kennedy lose MITB and especially not in a squash match, but I don't think there was another choice. The good thing is that this match was far from a clean finish, which means there's already a feud for Kennedy when he returns.
If it's a torn tricep, that'd be about a six month recovery time, putting Kennedy's return around December. How cool would it be if Edge cashes in MITB and win and Kennedy wins the RR leading to that Mania main event.Co-Commish of the OS Vets I & II
