    I'm thinking....

of going to the ROH show June 9 in Philly. For those who have been to a ROH show, how was it? I don't folllow it alot but I do know some and would like to get into it. Would I be totally lost there and not no what's going on? Also would a 5th row seat be worth it or should I spend the extra $10 for a 3rd row seat.

    Re: I'm thinking....

Not to hijack the thread, but I have similar questions as I've just started really getting into ROH lately and now I'm considering going to the Chicago show next month(seeing what I've seen of ROH, KENTA v. Danielson is a dream match of mine).

The only question I have to add onto ballerzinc's is...are General Admission tickets BAD seats? There's not too much left for tickets for the Chicago show(6th Row and GA seem to be all that's left), and considering I can't commit to going right now(due to work) and it would be a 2.5 hour drive for me, would have a GA seat hamper the show?

Don't think, just do it. lol

You'll know what's going on becuase most of the show is matches. Unless the show is a stinker (which it won't), you're not gonna have hard time getting into it. The PA system in Philly is good so you'll know the names.

Just to give you an example: I went to the PPV taping 8 deep. One of my friends hadn't watched wrestling in years and really had no desire to see it again, he just brought his little brother. He didn't get his voice back until Tuesday. And he can't stop talking about KENTA.

Third row, fifth row, that really doesn't matter. Personally, I'd go with the third row.

I don't know about the venue there, but I'm sure someone can help you. Just get the sixth row seat, though. It's guaranteed, and with a 2.5 hour drive you shouldn't leave it to chance. Plus, you have a btter chance to get on camera.

I have sat 6th row before at in Chicago and it is not a bad seat at all. By all means if you can definately go. You will not be disappointed.

I just got back and.......WOW. By the far the best wrestling show I've ever been to. They taped Nigel vs Danielson for the 2nd PPV and it was the greatest match I've ever seen. The crowd was so hot for it. Every match was good though. I can see the hype now. WWE can't hold anything to this. Every match was entertaining and as a fan you get into the show. Watch for me on the 2nd PPV, me and two other guys are flipping off Nigel 6 inches from his face when he gets knocked out on the floor. Again, SICKEST SHOW EVER

ROH isn't for the masses though - they have a limit to their ceiling for popularity. I'm glad the show was great though, I'll have to watch for ya.

-Brent Albright defeated BJ Whitmer, Jimmy Rave, and Erick Stevens in a Four Corner Survival Match to earn an ROH Title shot at the 8/11 return to Philadelphia.
Hell yeah! If Morishima is still champ, I'm making the trip.

                    Me too.

When they put the title on Morishima I thought Albright should be the one to take it from him. I couldn't see a small guy beating him, no matter how popular. That wouldn't reflect well on the NOAH heavyweights.

I know Albright wrestled for NOAH before he came to OVW, but I have no idea how long or how he was booked.
