Grew up on WWF, stoped watching wrestling, moved into my first apartment saw WCW and fell back in love!
WCW was great, it had everything and when you dont read wrestling forums like I didnt the suprises were awesome!

I remember every Saturday at 5:05pm when I was a teenager, I would grab my dinner as it was dinner time and take my plate to my bedroom to watch WCW Saturday Night. As Tony S. & Dusty Rhodes would call it, this was the "Flagship".

I really miss Clash of the Champions.........even more, I wish that WWE would have brought back PPV's like StarrCade, SuperBrawl, and even Fall Brawl to replace the some of the stupid names they have now.

Sadly,this match was the begining of the end for the company. I remember being really hyped for that match. They had built it up for a year and you knew in the end Sting was gonna come out on top. Unfortunately,I ended up being very disappointed.

Didn't they run out of time on that Starcade match and had to refund people their money because the cable cut the end out.

Than they had to show the entire match on Nitro... or was that a different match?

Different match. That was Halloween Havoc '98 with Warrior/Hogan II. The main event was DDP/Goldberg and that got cut out in a lot of places. Just not where I was.

You know the sad thing about that is,there was a time when Schiavone was one of the better commentators in the business.

To him, every Monday we were witnessing the most important(match,night,contract signing, event) in the history of this great sport. At least until the next Monday.

I definately miss WCW. Those were the best times ever in wrestling, in my opinion. Nothing will ever come close, each, and every single week it amazed me again, and again.

Being from the South, I grew up on WCW. Mississippi and Louisiana were Mid South territories so I got to watch a lot of the WCW guys grow up and move on. Sting, JYD, Kamala, Rob Ricksteiner, Midnight Express, Rock and Roll Express, Dibiase and Dr. Death, and the Freebirds just to name a few. I remember going to Mid South shows in small convention centers with less than 300 people and being right in on the action. After that, with WCW on TBS it was a natural progression for me. Back then the only WWF exposure I had was the weekly show that came on at 6 pm on Saturdays on the local ABC and of course the Saturday Night's Main Event specials (if I could stay up till 11 to watch them). I think every Monday night in college was spent watching Nitro and then eventually moving on to Raw as the "Monday Night Wars" died down.

I stopped watching wrestling when wcw was over. They had so many classic matches. The clash of champions were great to watch. I liked the differnt battles the 4 hourseman had vs sting, dusty rhodes, road warriors etc.. I liked seeing the great muta spit that green stuff in peoples eyes. I might buy some wcw dvds to reminisce.

my middle school had two gangs... NWO Black and White and NWO Wolfpack... I kid you not. That all ended one day when this kid gave a diamond cutter to someone because he was pissed at them... ended up busting that kid's face up pretty bad and he got suspended... but for a time NWO fever ruled my middle school.
