Nah, I've always said Khali would be champ someday, and I heard that day would never come from many, many people. I like Khali, the Cena losses did make him look weaker, but I don't think they would have given him the title the other night if they wanted Kane to be champ. Was Kane going to beat Edge? I doubt it or they most likely would have let him win the battle royal and go over tonight, now it's time for Khali to be given a chance at a run of his own. But who knows, I could be wrong and WWE may just shock us all and give it to Batista again. Can't wait to find out though.

They probably gave it to Khali because... I mean, once it gets down to 3 people, how do you honestly make it realistic to have Batista and Kane work together to put Khali over the top? It doesn't work.

In this thread though, Khali doesn't even need to be part of the finish, so if Kane pins Batista... it doesn't really taint Khali at all... and it's what I think they'll do.

Batista got his swagger back and is still mega over, Khali gets heat while Kane's been at best a JTTS. Batista chasing Khali is a whole lot better than Kane defending against...?

I used to go to this event every year when it was in Baltimore, I miss those days. Flair/Sting was the greatest ever!!!!!!! I wish they would bring back Halloween Havoc, Fall Brawl, and Starrcade also.
