    Angle or Joe?

Without any spoilers, who do guys think will win and should win on Sunday? I think it's time TNA lets Joe carry the company. I will be extremely disappointed if Angle goes over Sunday.

I want Joe to win, but I have this bad feeling that Angle will win.

If Joe does lose, I wouldn't blame him if he quit or asks for a release.

      Re: Angle or Joe?

Would it be feasible for Angle to lose the IWGP title in a TNA match?

I don't think that Joe losing would be any indication of a decision to drop a Joe push. I think that they have Joe on a very slow burn, and this could be the big payoff, but don't be surprised if it isn't.

To be honest, I'm more interested in the future of the tag and X belts after this match.

Funny thing, is that the "IWGP" title belt that Angle has isn't even recognized as the IWGP title...........for him to lose it in a TNA match, it doesn't matter.

If Joe doesn't win the title here, then there is a problem. Then TNA should have waited till Bound For Glory for these two to meet.

          Re: Angle or Joe?

It's NOT the IWGP title. It's the version Brock Lesnar never gave back. The title has no connection with New Japan anymore. Yuji Nagata is the official IWGP title holder.

That being said - I assume Angle goes over here. I also hate Angle with a passion, so it's yet another reason for me to not watch TNA. If Joe won, I might start tuning in, only to be turned off when, after defeating Angle... He feuds with him yet again.

I'm about 90% certain Angle will go over for various reasons.

Angle going over would be a huge mistake, IMO.

Is it not a title for a promotion in Japan, though? Antonio Inoki's new promotion, IGF or whatever? I guess they must have be willing to share talent, anyway. Maybe Joe is scheduled for a card over there or something.

I don't see Angle winning as such a bad thing. I'm not that excited about either, to be honest. Joe has really lost some appeal to me.

Joe has lost appeal in people's eyes because of them booking him as a monster and then he becomes a whipping boy.

I disagree, he has lost appeal to me because I think his character sucks. I think they should let some personality into it. All you ever see is a pissed off guy, thats original. Joe's character comes off as very stale to me. Now the booking has been strange, especially the who is the heel this week thing they have been doing. So that hasnt helped either. I like that they have Kurt doing something different with his character, the pulls off the whole arrogant thing very well. I have no problem with Angle retaining.

Now I have to admit, part of the reason I dont root for Joe is because of the whole internet lovefest with him. I dont see him as special so I dont get it. Now, if it werent for the man crush the internet had on him, I may find him a bit more interesting. Exact same thing for C. M. Punk.

No way Joe wins IMO. I'd love to see it but it's not gonna happen. God for bid TNA should make one of their guys a top guy. I like watching TNA but Angle/Joe is getting old. Give AJ a shot!

I just can't wait for Jarrett to come back then we won't have to discuss who the champion is going to be in TNA. Same with HHH in WWE. It's time for the Kings to take over again.
