Hulk Hogan Runs Wild on American Gladiators
Whatcha gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild on American Gladiators? NBC has announced that none other than Hulk Hogan will be the host of the new version of the '90s series, debuting sometime mid-season.

In the press release announcing Hogan's new position, Craig Plestis, Executive Vice President, Alternative Programming, Development and Specials, NBC Entertainment (whew!) says "Hulk Hogan is an American icon. For over twenty years he has been a symbol of strength and toughness in all facets of entertainment. His electrifying personality will no doubt inspire Herculean efforts from our everyday challengers. There is no one more qualified to host this program."

I like Hogan, but really, I just can't wait to see Gladiators again. I loved this show when i was a kid!

I was watching old episodes last weekend on ESPN Classic (I think that was the channel) and it reminded me how much I loved that show. I always wanted to wrestlers vs. gladiators!

Because of that, I think Hogan is a pretty cool choice to host. He embodies everything the show was: energetic, fun, larger than life...and corny.
