I agree, it looks good so far. Hopefully this will add good competition to the Smackdown franchise.

I would buy it if it played like the old N64 wrestling games, those were the best.

Thats what most people compare all wrestling games with, but I like the look of this so far, it looks realistic to me.

I really like the looks of it. Anyone know if GameSpot has a HD version available?

One thing i hope is fixed for this game is the move sets because so far...Angle, Sting, Christian, Joe all have the same moves

You would think since they are demo'ing it now, they'd atleast have the few wrestlers they've show with a more accurate move set. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, and say they'll have it pretty accurate by the time it releases.

That was my biggest complaint watching this video, is that the movesets are so inaccurate for both guys. I felt like this was the Rey Mysterio moveset........LOL! With only 20 superstars in the game, there is no excuse for them not to be able to get each and every guys accurate moveset by the time this thing releases.

Other than the moves, the game looks pretty darn good.

I guess I was the only one that read the Interview. At this point they said ever wrestler has the same move list and that they will fix that towards the end of the cycle (before release). Also, their will be weight detection.

Interview I believe is at Gamespot.

Looks good...will be very interested to see the weight balance, ie playing a heavy guy vs. a light guy. How each feels and works in the game. The speed just looked so fast there, almost too fast, I dunno. Just don't imagine Sting or Angle moving quite like that. Odds are they'll get it all working by the end.

                              Weight Balance....

I don't think that's really a huge issue in TNA. Most everyone is around the same height. There's only a few TALL guys like Abyss and Morgan. Most everyone else can get slammed or suplexed by just about any guy on the roster.

Part of me is thinking that they won't have specfic move sets. The way the developer kept talking about all the "acrobatic" moves of TNA. I'm hoping that they are just in so you can see them, but I have a feeling that everyone will be doing those kinds of moves. Yes, that's a bit of a letdown. Then again, how many wrestling games in the USA have had truly accurate move sets?

No Mercy and Wrestlemania 2000 are about the only ones that I can think of.
Hopefully Yukes pulls it off this year with SVR08 by at least having it close.

I really like how the game looks.
I'm amazed that this is something Midway has put together.
I'll buy it even if it's not the most "accurate" of movesets. It would be pretty cool if they had downloadable wrestlers and other things.
