Nah, this is a GOOD question. I've been thinking about it too, because I'm notcing that the new finishers in the E suck for the most part. Kennedy's finally found one that's decent, but MVP's sucks. Then I look at ROH and I saw all that stuff on the last NOAH DVD, which I saw on one of the AJPW tapes I have. Yawn.

Anyway, I'm starting to believe that everything's been done. I've thought about a fisherman's suplex into a power bomb, but it might too hokey.

I still say the best was that one done by that guy on Beyond the Mat. No clue what his name was, but everyone in the back said they were going to steal it. To day, I don't remember anyone else ever doing it.

That was Mike Modest. He was a fairly popular California indy wrestler in the late '90s and early '00s. He's wrestled quite a bit in Japan, mostly for NOAH and NJPW. I don't know how active he is nowadays.

Little bit of trivia: He wrestled for a very brief time in WCW. He had a match on Nitro with Christopher Daniels. Daniels botched something and seriously injured (broke?) his neck.

          That's it!

          Found it

          <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/lmKmM8Ro-g4&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/lmKmM8Ro-g4&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

I found the Daniels/Modest match as well, but Scott Steiner DQ'ed it, so not sure if that's it or not.

Was that where Daniels flubbed a springboard moonsault and fell on his head? The latest new move I saw was that sharpshooter leglock HBK put on Trevor Murdoch, but was that something he planned or just someone screwing up the sharpshooter for the billionth time?

Yeah, the move that Modest used is the same one that Finlay uses now.
