Re: Who has the "it" factor?
I wish Shelton Benjamin had any mic skills whatsoever because he could be main eventer with the matches he can have. As far as the "IT" guys go, I think Kennedy will get his title reign soon enough, and I always thought Carlito would have one, but he hasn't been seen in a while. I think they need to move CM Punk to Raw because he also seems to have "IT".Favorite Teams

Kennedy definitely has "it" but I hate his current character. I'd like to see how he'd do as a face actually.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Kennedy and MVP are the only guys I see it in right now."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

Re: Who has the "it" factor?
I'm probably nuts but I think Elijah Burke has as much charisma as anybody in the WWE.
I've been talking about Kennedy for a long time. I gotta disagree with you SPTO, I love Kennedy as a heel.
I also agree about Shelton- the guy is one of the best wrestlers around right now and every match of his is outstanding. I'm cautiously optimistic about how he's being handled in ECW right now. I don't know what most of you think of race-based (The Nation) or ethnic based (Bret Hart and the Canadian stuff) stables, but I think Shelton would be great in a stable with Elijah Burke, MVP, and himself. Shelton needs some help like that to push his character and develop his mic skills.
Another person that wrestles amazingly is Beth Phoenix- she is phenomenal. They need to get her more mic time. From what I heard, she was pretty good in OVW when she had a more visible role.

I agree with everything you say here. Kennedy needs to stay a heel and maybe even turn it up a notch. I think Kennedy should borrow some of the old Ric Flair ideas.
Elijah Burke has had it since he first debuted. I really thought the New Breed would elevate him and since the storyline fizzled the E needs to find a new way to push him.
I like Shelton in the ring, but lets face it, he is horrible on the mic. Get him a manager or a stable that can do the talking for him.
I am a huge Beth Phoenix fan. I think she is great in the ring and the few promos I have seen have been very good. The one strange thing about her is I can never definitivly say she is smoking hot. I think she is but every once in a while I will question that.Comment

Re: Who has the "it" factor?
MVP is the only guy I see who definitely has it. He's got charisma and can flat out work in the ring. If he's not WHC by the end of this year I'll be shocked.
Kennedy definitely has it ability wise, but he's had alot of misfortune over his WWE stint. It seems like everytime he has a shot, something happens and he has to start back over. Some of these are no fault of his own(injuries) but other things are just his own stupidity(Signature Pharmacy). He can be great, if he keeps his head on straight.
Shelton Benjamin very well could be on his way. His trip of ECW will hopefully give him a little credibility back as it had for Vis, Snitsky, & Lashley. Those ragging on his mic skills haven't watched his ECW stuff, sure he ain't no Rocky, but he isn't horrid anymore.
Elijah Burke definitely has it if they can just book him consistantly. He's got the superstar look and charisma...his wrestling skills leave a bit to be desired but that hasn't stopped guys from reaching the top before.
CM Punk definitely could have it, he just needs to keep his mouth shut backstage to avoid politics(I'm not saying any of the NEWZ we read about his heat is true, but even watching some of his ROH stuff I wonder about his personality). He has the wrestling ability and he's pretty over depending on the crowd. He definitley has the character to do it as well...he just needs the E to let him run with his character a bit.
Both Hardys I think have it as well(I don't know if Jeff even counts in this though seeing as he's been main eventing for a couple months now). Both are damn good at working a match, and while neither have great mic skills, they have that Benoit-factor where they've done so much in the ring that they don't need to speak to get the crowd going.
Burchill could but I don't really think the E will ever give him a decent character to work with.
To those saying Beth Phoenix, I agree that she's been awesome since her return...but let's be honest, eventually she'll pick up a few losses, lose the title, and she'll just be another Victoria; a good, strong women's wrestler they use to put other "divas" over with.Co-Commish of the OS Vets I & II

Re: Who has the "it" factor?
I hope not, it would be cool for her to have a run for year or two. If they do start jobbing her I would love to see her in TNA, those ladies can wrestle.Comment

Re: Who has the "it" factor?
I can't see Shelton Benjamin finding "it".
When the Rock, Stone Cold types of wrestlers become bigtime players it's always an extension of their real personalities. Benjamin would have to force it just to become close to the top guy.
I agree with Kennedy and MVP as it seems to be more natural with them.
Once in a while you see them cutting a promo and it's not going quite right with say the crowd reacting different but they do a great job adjusting and that is what it takes to be the top guy.Comment

Re: Who has the "it" factor?
MVP has "it" in spades. He's the star with the brightest future in the WWE (who isn't already main eventing...). Santino has "it", but his ring work needs improvement and luckily for Santino, ring work CAN be improved upon.
What can't be improved upon is "it". Which is why Shelton Benjamin is the black Dean Malenko. Great worker...doesn't have "it".
AJ Styles has "it", but he's being misused horribly in TNA. Hopefully, he'll stop being some lackey clown soon and be the character he SHOULD be (arrogant prick). The line must be drawn HERE! This far, no further!Comment

Re: Who has the "it" factor?
Burke, MVP and Kennedy like everyone else has said are good examples.
Ted DiBiase Jr. has the look I feel, but he'll be in development for a while though. Colt Cabana would probably do well on Smackdown if he gets called up any time soon.Comment
