Superfly was one of the top heels in the WWWF. He feuded with Bob Backlund for the title in 80 or 81 and I think it was around 82 or early 83 that he turned face. He was nearly as over as Hogan in those days, before he ran into some problems that forced him out of the WWF for several years (right after WM I)

You're right. Snuka was a heel when Lou Albano was managing him.

I've always wondered if Magnum T.A. never got that career ending crash if he would've eventually turned on Dusty. Heck, I could see an angle where Ric Flair entices him into joining the Horsemen with the caveat that T.A. turns on Dusty.

Now this wouldn't happen until a couple or so years the program which got him the NWA title. I think that'd sell out some buildings especially down south.

I think that Magnum was up for winning the NWA title eventually, but that stupid motorcycle accident ended it all.

Well, under the Muta persona, yes.....but I think that Keiji Mutoh may have been face a few times in Japan.

I think that Magnum was up for winning the NWA title eventually, but that stupid motorcycle accident ended it all.

IIRC he was supposed to win it at Starrcade that year.

Vader was also face during the USA vs. Canada feud.

Nope. There was a time when The Body was a face. I think it was something involving Vince or Gorilla Monsoon.

I read somewhere that Ricky Steamboat was one of the Few wrestlers that was a face for his entire career.

Also, I dont ever remember the Ultimate Warrior being a heel, although I didn't see him when he was teaming with Sting, maybe they were heels at that point.

Warrior was heel with Sting in Mid-South and by himself in WCCW as Dingo Warrior for a bit.
