    Lockdown was Great!!!

Great PPV by TNA. I hope it draws good numbers for the company as they put on one hell of a show! The knockouts match was kind of cool, really different idea, the X-division match was very solid! Again, an innovative concept along with the 6 team tag team match! Wow, that was great!

The team Tomko / Team Cage was fantastic! The spot on the top of the cage with the table and ladder was just AWESOME! You couldn't turn your head, it was like a bloody train wreck... you just had to look!

Angle vs Joe was great as well, I love seeing matches with some real take downs, submission attempts, and good old fashion suplexes! Top that all off with some nice strikes and bodyslams and you have yourself a main event!

    Great night overall!

I don't watch as many pay per views as I used to (watched most of the WCW and WWE events in the 90's), but this one was definitely worth forking over the the 30 clams.

I enjoyed every match with the exception of the "Cuffed in the Cage" match. Lethal Lockdown and Joe/Angle was incredible.

I thought it was a really solid PPV. I do not like the MMA look Angle has going. Put on some damn wrestling boots please. I was really impressed with Raisha Saeed. She was really good in the ring. Glad to see Joe get the title (even though I think every knew he would with the retirement stipulation). Hope Joe holds the belt for a long run.

I though the show was decent. The X division match was very good , and the main event was great. Though the whole MMA story was stupid and not even needed for that match. The Lethal lockdown was not as good as usual and really that move from the ladder was nothing special at all. I'd give the PPV a 7/10 mostly b/c the main event was very good.

The one thing about TNA that bothers me here as late is there are way to many ridicolous characters.

Give or take a few of the matches and over the top gimmicks, I really enjoyed Lockdown last night. Nice to see Joe as TNA World Champion. I also wrote up a review of the PPV on my blog.

I agree Candy, last night was the defining moment in TNA history. For the last few weeks I was scared that they might pull another Jarrett/Raven on the fans and have Angle walk out the champ moving Joe into some sort of screwjob finish that helped him keep his job. That wasn't the case. The whole PPV was good, with the exception of the Super Eric stuff, I know you have to entertain the kids as well, but I hate the fact MCMG, LAX, and the Freak Foundation has to take a back seat to it. It's funny how people will criticize when in fact TNA did what the fans have always wanted last night, no interference (the entire evening, with maybe the exception of Dutt's antics) and put on an actual stellar double main event finishing with Joe finally realizing his dream. Both of the women's matches were good and they continued the Kip/BG and Booker/Roode feuds for at least another month. As for Lethal Lockdown, I don't care what anyone says, anytime you are 20+ feet above the ring and in a position for things to go bad, such as the ladder being that close to the edge of the cage, it's breathtaking and makes you respect the athletes involved. Great review on your site Candy, I really enjoy hanging out with you guys and discussing both products during the events.

I really enjoyed it, had 3 of my best friends over too so that was very enjoyable. Ordered some pizza, dr pepper, and some snacks and we had a blast. Good show and a good time was had by all. Also got 3 more people who watch iMPACT! every week now.

                  Re: Lockdown was Great!!!

Here are my few takes on the show last night.

                  - Angle Vs Joe: It was sweet how Angle took his training serious if you will in terms of he came out in MMA gear. While it was a good match I couldn't figure out if it was really good or not because Joe didn't do much as Angle did just about everything until he got his head kicked off a few times.

                  - X Division Match: The match was good, but the ending had to be one of the dumbest things ever.

                  - BG James vs Kip James: was boring!!!

                  - Tag Team Handcuff match: was a joke nuff said.

                  - womens tag match: that Sheed girl was impressive and it was a pretty solid match for womens. Gail Kim hurricarana off the near the top was a big bump for a women.

                  - Lethal Lockdown: I actually thought it was done better this time around, but the match ended to quick and I don't see the perhaps of having Rhino make the cover.

                  - Booker T Vs Roode: Robert should have won that match last night because he should be a main event guy by now. There is no reason why Booker should not have put him over and its like how many managers is TNA going to give him before he lands on one that can take him to the top if you will....?

It's always a pleasure discussing PPV's and wrestling shows with you guys. Thanks for the comments on the review. I hated the Cuffed in the Cage and it really brought that portion of the show down for me. I hope TNA smartens up and cuts out crap like that. Overall, the good matches far outweighed anything bad that came out of the show last night. Joe vs. Angle from last night is the best match in TNA history imo.

doing good bro...just been staying away from Wrestling because it's junk and just find both the WWE and TNA product boring on TV. How are you Candy? I guess you can call me the Sting of the TNA Wrestling forum...I leave when I want and comeback when needed....haha
