            It wasn't even the best wrestling game when it came out (Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 was). VPW2, Fire Pro D/R, ASPW2/3, KOC1/2 are all better.

              I love me some Fire Pro but I think that's debatable. From an all-around standpoint both in accessibility, translation, graphics No Mercy was king of it's time in my mind. Again, I love those games but they don't top No Mercy for me, for the simple fact that I could throw No Mercy in the system and friends,girls anybody could play it and have a good time. It still took major skill to be good at it, but it was accessible enough for common people and just enough for the diehards.
