    Hogan - Austin WM 25?

Is Hulk Hogan going to return for WM 25.
According to his daughter Brooke anytime Hulk prepares to return he does not tell his family, and secretly gets into really good shape. Hogan has lost 20 pounds in the last month.
Any thoughts on 'the dream match'.

Is this a spoiler or speculation?

I'd love to see it. I'd even have it so Hogan is GM of RAW and SCSA has beef with him.

Basically a new version of Austin/McMahon

Wow, that would be what ... 100+ years of age combined in the ring? The match might have been worth having 10 years ago, but it would be like watching paint dry now ...

I dunno, i've seen guys with a combined 100+ years of age have good matches. It can be done well if staged right.

I hope not. This match could be pretty rough to watch. It would be pretty slow paced. I mean Austin hasn't wrestled in 6 years by the time of Wrestlemania. The only way they could pull this off would be in a street fight. I don't think they could have a regular match it'd have to be a street fight so they could fight out on the floor and use weapons. I also don't see either one putting the other one over. I'd like to see Austin come back and work with Orton, Edge, or mvp if they ever push him. I'd like to see Hogan come back and have a final match and put someone over. The last couple times he's came back he went over on hbk and Orton. It'd be nice for him to return the favor.
I'm personally hoping for a hbk-taker retirement/number 1 contender match. Have the loser retire and the winner go to backlash and put over the new champion in a career vs title match. I think that'd be an awesome way for both guys to go out as much as i don't want to see either one go. I think hbk is still the best and taker is right up there with him but i think they're both getting close to the end.

You can't have one lose a retirement match and then the other lose a career match. THAT'S overkill.

Austin/Hogan would be horrible. I'd want Austin to come back for one more match and get the win. Maybe his opponent (Orton?) would be about to finish him, McMahon would come out and say "You aren't done yet. KILL HIM!" and then Austin mounts a comeback and stuns McMahon to put a cherry on top of the night. Austin in any long term role isn't realistic.

Hogan? Ugh. I don't know if he even has another match in him. He's SO slow and hard to watch now. Remember when he came out to promote Gladiators and punch Khali? THAT was rough to sit through...imagine a match?
The line must be drawn HERE! This far, no further!

You're talking about two pros who get reactions for everything. They don't have to have a "good" match. It's not the point.

That said, the ship has sailed on Austin/Hogan. I really don't know if Hogan do anything anymore. I wanna see Austin/Cena, or Austin/Batista. I like kerowack's idea with Orton. Whatever they do, Austin has to win clean.

I can't take Hogan seriously anymore after that Summerslam match he had with Shawn Michaels.

Austin v. Cena would be cool though.

Austin V. Cena would be good indeed. I haven't watched much WWE lately, is Cena still the hip hop/thug life character who plays by his rules? It'd be nice if they did an adult version of the storyline where Jake the Snake was the master to Ultimate Warrior's apprentice. That is, Austin teaches Cena how to be truly bad *** and then you get a teacher vs master type of feud and match.

For historians of wrestling it'd be a lot like the Zbysco/Samartino feud.

Cena is out now with a neck injury, no idea when he's due back.

As for a Hogan/Austin match, I'd hope the Hulkster would put Austin over, but that is doubtful. Seriously, wasn't The Rock the last guy he put over?

                      The Dream Main Event -
Hogan v Austin v McMahon - Bret Hart Special Guest Referee.

Maybe Hogan is getting old but the fans will buy tickets to see him, heck maybe a retirement type match.

Hogan just needs to let go, maybe 8 years ago this match would've worked but not now. I've never been a fan of Hogan in the early 90's, and for some odd reason i'd love to see either Orton-Austin, or Edge-Austin at WM 25.

The best match match bottom line would be Rock vs Cena. So that the great one can layeth the smackdown on his candy ***! Finally!

Man gimme either a Rock-Austin match at WM 25 or Triple H-Rock main event.

But we all know the chances of either one of those happening is the day hell freezes over.
