Guys, I just wanted to respond to the post you guys made about my opinion on the product. First off, I'd like to let you know that I have respect for you two as followers of the product and your opinions on it as well. Also, I have the up-most respect for you guys as members of the OS family. I feel like this is a great site to come to and enjoy others views that are provided for the video game era that is upon us. I know I love coming to the OS community to give updates involved with my MLB the Show franchise and listening to the responses from it.
I know our views are different when it comes to the product. Actually, they really aren't if you think about it. We all want to see the product to return to those glory days. It will never happen, but we can all hope. It's not that I didn't enjoy the wrestling aspect of the Royal Rumble the other night, the action was phenomenal. It just burns my blood when one company does the exact same thing to end an angle as another company, but one is viewed as excellent and one is viewed as sub-par, may not be the exact same storyline, but the way about doing it, is the same. It wasn't about hate for WWE and love for TNA, it was just reading those idiotic Torch columns that got under my skin that night. They aren't even worth talking about, to tell you the truth, I don't even tune in to Raw with MNF and now 24 on anymore, (DVR it) and TNA will never be the same to me as it was the first 4 1/2 years they were in business. Their move to entertainment and away from the in-ring product makes me not even tune in half the time, which scares me about the ROH deal to HDnet. I DVR it and skip through Impact and Raw the most part, just to keep fresh with who is feuding with who. For both companies, I really only take the time to buy their PPV's because of hopes of seeing classic matches such as Shelly/Sabin, Jarrett/Angle, Hardy/Edge, Flair/HBK, etc........those are the moments I live for to watch in the sport. I went to Backlash last year in Baltimore and it was one of the best wrestling events I've been to since the NWO/WCW years. I enjoyed every part of that event. Went to Raw about 4 months later and left about the 10:30 mark, because it just wasn't the same. I know it wasn't a PPV, but it wasn't even entertaining that night.
I stopped posting my opinions on this site for the most part because I respect the opinions of you guys, I know they are for the most part not welcomed and I have much more things to do in my life, such as just building a new home and all the maintenance that comes with it, than to come here every PPV and wrestling event and leave those opinions that aren't welcomed here. I come to this site mostly anymore to post my "Show" franchise, which has slowed down considerably, it takes out of my free time to do so, but I do it because of those who do enjoy reading it, and it's nice to know that they enjoy checking in on it.
I just wanted to leave my opinions and I want you to know I respect you guys and there's no reason for me to be upset about that post the other day. If you guys care that much about my opinions, then I'm flattered. Take care guys.
