    What SvR 2010 Should Have

Now for the record. I actually did like SvR 2009, however, there are many things they need to fix or add.

    1. Better Money in the Bank ladder mode. It's terrible the way it is now.

    2. Only the current WWE titles. Get rid of the WCW Classic World Title, Hardcore title, and Cruiserweight title. This leads me to number 3.

    3. Create-A-Belt. Let us create championships again. Don't make us spend "SmackDown $" in order to create them either. Also, how about letting us assign the created belt champions instead of profile based.

    4. More match modes. Stretcher match, fatal-four way elimination (not the four-way battle royal), I Quit match, etc.

    5. Better looking title belts. The belts in Legends look pretty impressive to me because the belts are always the same size and don't shrink or grow (unless your Yokozuna and win a cage match).

    6. Create-A-Ring/Arena. One way they could add it would be to create the ring and staging area and save it to the hard drive. If they can't do the arena or stage area. Then bring in a generic ppv arena (or use the HD RAW/SmackDown/ECW Set) and let us choose a specific logo to use. Also, please let us change the ring rope colors. The Great American Bash last I checked uses the red, white, and blue ropes. (Why are they blue on SvR 2009?).

Any other suggestions you all have?

Re: What SvR 2010 Should Have

-CAW imports from SvR 09 / LoW
-redo ALL the submission moves, make them all actually submissions (e.g. the Tazzmission is not a submission hold in the current SvR game; lame)
-integrate a consistent submission mechanic that's actually useful, realistic, and fun
-have some sort of concept of pacing in the match, rather than just GO! GO! GO! all the time
-put GM mode back in the game
-build upon CAF mode; allow more than just front finishers, refine linking of pieces
-GOOD online support; e.g. online leagues, ROSTER UPDATES (I'm sorry, but releasing one three-wrestler pack is a pretty half-hearted effort), etc.
-stop taking moves OUT of the game
-save CAWs on an individual basis rather than 30 or so to the SvR save file; this will allow more CAW saves
-add more Superstar traits or whatever they're called; make each wrestler more unique

    Just a few ideas.

Re: What SvR 2010 Should Have

-Already rumored for next year, but Create-a-Titantron with replays saved from Highlight Reel mode.

-Submission maneuvers and new start positions in CAF.

-Krioniq pointed this out already, but CAWs should be limited ONLY to your hard drive or memory card space, not only to 30 slots. I'm tired of seeing games like WWE Raw 2 (64) still have more CAW slots than the SVR series (30).

-Krioniq also mentioned this, but transferring CAWs from SVR2009 to SVR2010 will seriously help guys like me who run leagues and need to remake complicated CAWs year in and year out.

-Take the interesting angles and conceptual ideas in Road to Wrestlemania and apply them to an entire season mode. Why the season mode still isn't as good as it was in Shut Your Mouth is beyond me.

-We need a new targeting system in this game. One that resembles the DOR series may be beneficial...even a modifier (such as pushing a trigger and flicking the right analog stick in the direction of your target at the same time) will work.

-Weight detection is still a major question mark. DOR2's weight detection system was excellent despite the button mashing it involved. Anything similar to this would be excellent.

-Reversal system should take a hint from TNA's game...every move should be able to be reversed, including finishers.

-Improve or remove commentary. Due to the disc space limitations on the PS2 and 360, I think commentary should become less of a factor. I wouldn't mind having a good commentary track with JR and King if it means taking out all three commentary teams. I usually play with the commentary off so it doesn't affect me.

-Improve manager interaction and actually make managers a part of entrances (as seen in LOWM).

-Realistic submissions. Late in the match, submissions should get more suspenseful and last longer than in the beginning of matches. It's not realistic when five-second long holds end a match. There are situations in real life when they do, mind you, but it's not an effective way to tell a story in the ring.

-Fix Elimination Chamber animations. The "Spiderman" animations are ridiculous and happen way too often if opponents are AI controlled.

I want to see a storyline mode that is more of a "NFL Head Coach" type mode. Let me control angles, wins, losses, etc. Let me control my own WWE world.

More old school type modes. The title chase mode in Wrestlemania 2000 was awesome. Once you created a guy, they will appear randomly throughout the story mode. Made it great when you created guys not on the roster.

            Another thing:

Let us assign our CAW whatever stats we want at the start. DON'T MAKE US GO THROUGH STORY MODE TO BUILD UP OUR CAW'S STATS, AND DON'T MAKE US COMPLETE INDIVIDUAL UNIQUE TASKS TO BUILD UP EACH PARTICULAR STAT.

That bold part is the reason I never played SvR 09 much; the game's limitations on CAWs' stats were crippling.

Re: What SvR 2010 Should Have

heres what i want in the next smackdown vs raw

1st player mode- this was a great feature in the earlier svr but went away when the next one came out, i would love to see this back in

fighting in the crowd- i was dissapointed when they took this out, made no sense to irish whip someone into the barricade without clotheslining them into the crowd, this feature needs to be back in

more legends-its time to put owen hart in the game along with some other legends either that or make it so that the wrestlers on legends of wrestlemania can be transfered over to svr (if possible)

better caf- make it so we can do finishers from the top rope like a suplex into a stunner or a powerbomb into a facebuster, make caf exciting instead of just a bland boring feature that excited everyone for about 5 minutes

gm mode- instead of a battle for gm of the year crap, make gm mode like an raw ecw or smackdown show, more interaction with wrestlers

Re: What SvR 2010 Should Have

                1. More realness in the game. What I mean is being able to pull off moves from any position. Example: RKOs off of ladders, Double F-Us or attitude adjustments w/e.

                2. Realness, let the weapons stay there when they break dont just disapear. Let blood stains show on the mat. Being able to stack ladders on top of each other or use them to catapult people from them. Being able to put 4 tables side by side. No shortage of weapons when they are not in use. Nd in tha ladder match nd money in tha bank they shouls have the 20ft ladder nd the rest 15ft and being able to swantom bomb someone through them.

                3. Career Mode needs to come back like in SVR 05, when u accaicly talked to people nd they had cutscenes with the person you were playin wit nd it was very dramatic nd now in SVR 09 the Career mode sucks, just fighting for titles without going through being jumped or rivialries.

Reply if thank this is good, or want to add something else.

I just want to see a sesaon mode like Here Comes the Pain or Shut Your Mouth make a return. I could care less if they put any Legends in the game as long as they keep making Legends of Wrestlemania.

GM Mode first and foremost needs to be brought back. No. 2, the belts need to be done right. The WWE title and World Heavyweight Championship looking like a little Intercontinental title just doesn't cut it!

Arenas that should be in the game:
RAW, SmackDown, ECW, Superstars (might as well), Royal Rumble, No Way Out, WrestleMania XXV, Backlash, Judgment Day, Extreme Rules (or whatever they are gonna call it), Night of Champions, Great American Bash (RED, WHITE, & BLUE ropes this time), SummerSlam, Unforgiven, No Mercy, Cyber Sunday (god they need to get rid of this PPV), Survivor Series, Armageddon, and maybe some classic arenas as well.

Career mode is lame where you have to win every title and you can't even defend them once you win them.

The old story line was interesting and maybe if they combined some of that with road to wresltemania, it could make for an interesting career mode, where belts change hands etc.
