How would YOU fix the WWE?

If you could fix the WWE now how would you do it? I love wrestling. I grew up watching it since I was 7 years old, like a lot of other people grew up watchin it if your a fan of it. I WANT it to get better. I don't care about competition like a lot of other people do. I knew when WWE had WCW going head to head that WWE would win at the end. No matter if Vince bought the company or not.

I would DROP the split, and as fast as I can. It's just not working out like they thought/hoped that it would. Stop bringing back old people from the past, Sable, Piper to name a few. We're not in the 80's, early 90's no more. The fans know that. Piper is fine, but DON"T over expose him to much or the fans will get tired of him real quick. Also, it's time for Hulk Hogan to really hang his boots up. I love the guy but his time is up.

Also, STOP giving HHH the power that he has now. Vince says that he's the owner and make all of the final decisions. Well prove it Vince and stop treating HHH like he's the owner.

All they need is SOMETHING like they had when they had the attitude era going. What it is, I don't know yet.

I want to see stables again. I liked the WWE more when there were stables. I don't think they know what they want to do and it kinda sucks. I only watch the first 10 minutes of Raw most of the time now. I agree with you about bringing back old people, It is coming off as desperate and pretty lame.

Ok i'm gonna do this as short as possible.

            - don't bring back more old folks UNLESS it's a one shot deal.

            - take the belt off HHH, slowly put him down the midcard, seperate him with Flair. This should get HHH time to refresh his character while not being in people's faces 80% of the time. Flair could also have more of a role with YOUNGER wrestlers. HHH doesn't need the rub from Flair.

            - STOP THE CLIQUE SOAP OPERA ON RAW! I can't stress this enough. Only 5-15% of the fans know the nuances of the whole clique story while the rest of the fans are sitting on their hands getting bored by this lovefest between HHH, HBK and Nash.

            - More tag teams please

            - lose this whole GM nonsense. Have only ONE head honcho in charge of the WWE in storyline purposes.

            - On that note kill the split as it was originally going to be a split between WWE and McMahon owned WCW. Of course Buff Bagwell had to go and ruin it with his atrocious WWE debut. It could've been rectified but WWE made far too many mistakes.

            - Fire Steph from booking/overseeing booking and put in Heyman for that job.

            - make longer feuds/storylines

            - cut PPVs to 6 per year.

            - outside of the ring and for the company in general go back to the WWF name. The suit was only applicable to England NOT north america.

            - create an old school wrestling network

            SOMETHING WWE CAN'T DO

            - NWA:TNA please get a TV deal as competition makes WWE stronger

Re: How would YOU fix the WWE?

We have two HHH opinions in this thread. MDaddy says "HHH has too much power", while SportsmanTO says "Too much face time, let him refresh his character".

I hate HHH as much as the next guy, but stop believing this 'power trip' nonsense about HHH. Does he have influence? Yes. Does he abuse it at times? Of course. Is he the end all be all of wrestling because of it? Not even close.

I saw an editorial, at pwbts.com I believe, that summed it up perfectly. If HHH had all of this power, then at the split, why didn't he go to Smackdown? Instead of being on Raw and beating up on undercard talent he could of went to Smackdown and held down the like of The Rock, Kurt Angle and so forth. Didn't look like Brock Lesnar had any problems being stopped by HHH, and he war on Raw right there with him. What about the Raw title? That belt means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to anyone on the Raw roster (you are going to have to trust me on that one). Why would he care about keeping a belt like that? Hell, if he had so much power, why get the belt handed to him? Why not beat someone big for it? Not a good business move for someone who is supposed to be in such great power. On the same note, if HHH is so dead set on keeping promising talent down, then why even create a faction with two of the top rising stars in the business with the sole purpose of giving them the rub?

Now the face time comment I agree with. He has been forcefed to us for too long now, and that needs to change. It has been known for a while that since HHH came back from his injury that he is a bigger guy. It also has slowed him down, noticably. The draw to HHH has been his wrestling mind and energy in the ring. Losing a step in the ring takes away from that energy. He now lumbers around the ring relying on ring psychology (which isn't a bad thing) instead of combining that psychology with athleticism. He is slowly becoming what he wants to be, ironically, the next Nature Boy.

And the KLIQ comment is also well served. For something that happened so many years ago, off of TV, to such miniscule knowledge of fans, why bring this up as an angle? WWE banked a little too much on the internet this time, and while it is good to see Nash back for entertainment purposes (man that guy can work a crowd), it would have been nice to see him in a different role, maybe even the role as 'Coach' he played to the Natural Born Thrilla's in WCW. A run like that could take a group of younger wrestlers to another level.

                        That is all...
