    Smackdown 5/1 thread

I've read the spoilers and would suggest watching it. Seems to be quite the show this week. Not sure what's offically announced and what's not so I won't say anything else.

For the first time in a LONG time I was entertained throughout the whole show tonight. The main event was unpredictable and makes the weeks leading up to Judgement day that more interesting. Even the dancing segment was somewhat watchable (Layla should've won though. Not because of her dancing but because of her CURVES! My God).

I was there (no pics this time, though) and they really stepped it up for MSG. "ECW" was good, too. This was the best week for WWE in a long time.

And Umaga/Punk is gonna be EPIC.

I enjoyed everything except the dancing part.

Looks like we'll have Punk/Umaga,Morrison/Jericho and Edge/Hardy. Add in a Benjamin/Rey IC title fued and of course Punk still having his case that should result in a decently long streak of really good/intresting shows.

I was there and it was as good on TV as it was in person. The ONLY thing that dampened the night in the least was some moron in a "No MAAM" shirt who didn't know when to sit (thus forcing everybody behind him to stand).

I'm interested in the Morrison face turn and want to see how he handles it (who knows if he's ready yet).

What a great show. Be interesting to see Umaga-Punk develop into a feud.

One thing is that I'd like Morrison to get some mic time so he can try and win the fans over. Hard to really buy him as a face after one beat down from Miz. The prospects of a Jericho-Morrison feud have me excited, though.

Hardy-Edge at the PPV will be good. Glad to see Jeff's not getting buried, even if he hasn't decided on his future yet.

I do not care what the Double Double does, but if they really pull the trigger on Jericho vs Morrison, I will never stop wrestling again. That would make me mark like a little girl.

It was a good show and the crowd sounded very hot. Smackdown is in Pittsburgh tomorrow, but I won't be going this time. With a new baby, it's hard to get out for four or five hours... Oh well. My Edge t-shirt (little kids try to talk so much smack because of it ) and I shall live to fight another day!

It was last night (4-3 WASH, 2-0 series). BTW, John Morrison was on a Pittsburgh morning show, or more accurately is on right now. I was hoping it would be a little earlier when I was sitting in traffic. I think they're giving away tickets as well...
