It's good to see him getting a push, but it pains me to see it with him as a face. My only hope is that they'll turn him once the fans are really behind him to seal the deal as a main-event heel...

They don't really do that **** anymore though, I kinda wish they would though... it's a perfect opportunity for him to "mid 1998" Rock him. Have him built up, get behind the fans, etc then just completely turn his back on them.

Then again, we have ****ty cast-off soap opera and comedy writers writing the damn show now, so good luck with that.

They had to turn him to build some momentum back after that losing streak. He would've been dead if he just started winning and stayed heel. Fresh outlook for a fresh character with a fresh push. He'll turn back unless he gets crazy over as a face, which is possible. All they have to do is protect him now. He'll be fine.

I'd like to see him use the Drive-By as his finisher. That kick looks nasty at times. The Playmaker just looks weak.

            I'm in total agreement.

Back to the Drive By Kick OR get another new move. The Playmaker is a horrible finisher.

I agree. I'd like to think the losing streak was part of a long-range plan:

                1. Lose, get humble, gain fan sympathy/acceptance (no longer cocky, over-paid athlete)
                2. Win, put him in a few well-placed spots to get over with the "new" fans on Raw (eg, challenging Orton/Legacy after coming to Raw)
                3. Maintain momentum with well-done programs to push him up the card
                4. If he "gets crazy over as a face", great, otherwise have his ego take over and back to his arrogant superstar athlete gimmick. This time with the heat that comes from turning his back on the fans -- like when one of your best players signs with your rival as a free agent and gets booed every time he's in the building. I don't know, maybe it's too logical...

I like the playmakers. Im tired of finishes like the big boot or super kick, which are what the drive by is similiar to
