I will have a story up later tonight as Im almost done with it. Its for a CAW but should be fun and for the most part realistic.

Its my first attempt at one and I put alot into it. Since its CAW Im doing it in chapters which last a month each. First is called: CAW Chapter1 Backlash

It takes place after Wrestlmania.

Look out for it later tonight or whenever the next time you play. Let me know what you think, Im not into that funny make believe stuff. So all my stories will be realistic. We will see how the first one goes before I start making more.

I was wondering, you said you put alot into your story, how long has it taken you ?

also, if you make a CAW for you story, do i get to use him once i download it ?

Well with me, I never get to much into games. I pretty much pick up and play 'em. This game though has alot of in-depth stuff.

Its only a month long because of the CAW issue but I put about 2.5 hours in it. I tried to make it realistic as possible and not too boring. Its a pretty basic story to start off with.

My CAW is pretty basic too as hes kind of Goldberg-ish. (My favorite all time wrestler)

Its nothing special, just starts out having him make his debut and goes from there.

I don't know if are able to keep him after you do it, but if anyone wanted him I would post him up for download.

Reason it took me a while is because I tried to make the story instead of just wrestling and moving on. I know people will prolly say," It took you this long to do this?" But I took my time with it to tell the story and have fun with it. So enjoy

Question....has anyone downloaded a CAW that has caused their system to crash back to the XMB(PS3)?

I downloaded A.J. Styles the other day and went to use him in an exhibition match for the first time last night, and as the game was going from character selection to the first intro, the game crashed back to the XMB.

I downloaded A.J. Styles the other day and went to use him in an exhibition match for the first time last night, and as the game was going from character selection to the first intro, the game crashed back to the XMB.

I downloaded an AJ Styles and I was fine...so maybe it was just a regular crash?

I only downloaded Hogan and no crush but the load times for the match I had with him were crazy long. I dunno if it'll happen all the time but it was literally a few minutes before the intros even loaded up.

Unfortuately I only have silver so I can't download anything...but I was working on a storyline.

Started out with Jericho having an interview on RAW (with their new backstage interviewer, Trish Stratus). Jericho says that tonight, he is gonna make an announcement that is gonna shake the entire WWE to it's ver core.

Couple other matches happen and we go to the main event (I don't play brands. I mix and match guys on shows) ECW Title match...Tommy Dreamer vs Christian.

Christian gets the win with the Killswitch. Afterwards...Jericho and Edge rush the ring and beat down Dreamer. Christian joins in.

Smackdown:

In the ring we have Jericho, Christian, Edge, and Natalya. Jericho says that they are the greatest export Canada has ever produced and it's only fitting they join forces. Says that they are the "Canadian Mafia" and tonight a new member gets inducted.

Trish is backstage and addressed by Natalya...saying she'd be the perfect new recruit. Trish refuses and challenges Natalya to a match later tonight. Trish asks Tommy Dreamer to be in her corner tonight, saying she doesn't trust Natalya or her new friends. Tommy accepts.

During the match, Trish turns on Dreamer and joins the Canadian Mafia. Show ends with RAW GM Tazz and the doctor stretchering Tommy out of the ring. Tazz looks angry and the doctor is very worried.

I even went so far as to give Edge, Christian, Jericho, Trish, and Natalya red and white outfits.

Their group music is Natalya's (it just sounds good for them) and the video is Jericho's...but each person does have their individual themes and videos.

Can you only play these storylines with a CAW? And how long are most of these?

I'm confused how it's done. I mean does the storyline change if you have a belt, etc.

im making one thats gonna last at least a year. I dont want to give too much away but ill just say that Christian finally gets to main event Wrestlemania.............or does he ?

When you save your stories, can you over write your (in my case first save) thus when youre first save just had the one date...when you'd overwrite it, would that mean itd save both dates on the calendar?

I hope that made soooome sense to someone...

I think I'm working on a good story right now, between Shane, Legacy, Santino and Beth, and Goldust...sprinkle that with some Swagger and Kennedy...and bam boom, theres the main components of my story...if i like it when im done with it ill put it up to share with you guys lol...its a bit idiotic, but i think you can follow it with ease. The topic is just kinda....ehhh lol. (just for example, on the 2nd show i just saved, Santino was talking about the size of his "Mahbuuuls")...

For these stories do you play out a match using either opponent or just watch or do you have the option to do both?

Is it possible to use different branches to a story so it can down 2 different paths depending on whether you won or lost a match?

^ You have the option to watch the CPU play or have a certain person win at least from the ones I've played. I don't think it has the two branches thing though.

No you can play. But it picks who you are and you have to win with that person (like you pick that you want orton to win vs. cena, i have to play as orton and win). It also gives you the option to just watch the CPU.
