Flair hints that he would go to TNA

Alex Marvez of ScrippsNews.com recently interviewed WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair and asked him about whether he'd ever seriously consider going to TNA Wrestling now that Hulk Hogan is on board.

"I haven't entertained the idea of working there because I've been so loyal to WWE, but you never know what's going to go on," Flair said. "I don't want to make any predictions, but I've certainly got a lot left to offer. I think I would be a good addition to (TNA's) program."
"Everything is about money, timing, what they want me to do and the job description. There's a lot up in the air. I haven't talked to (TNA ownership) yet, but I've had conversations with people who work there. I've stood by WWE, but if they're not going to use me anymore, I'm ready for any kind of action."

Flair also spoke about coming out of retirement in Australia to wrestle Hulk Hogan and his recent wedding to his fourth wife, Jackie Beems.

Don't you mean "This is what happens when dudes have an extreme love for the sport that they have been in for so long"?

He loves the business. Just like Shawn Michaels, Triple H, and Hulk Hogan. They'll do it as long as they possibly can, because they love doing it.

I don't blame him. He's how old, and can still out perform some of the younger talent.

        No, I don't.

I'm sure Flair has an "extreme love for the sport" (sport...LOL), but if he was well off enough he wouldn't be looking to make money with a man he hates while trying to get work with a third rate promotion. He would've stayed in WWE with guaranteed big money instead of taking a gamble, that didn't work, to squeeze a few more hundred grand out of people like me and you.

Yeah, but I don't think WWE wants him. I think it was them that kinda forced him into retiring.

Yes, I consider it a sport. I know it's fixed, but look at the athleticism. Look at how they don't have an off season.

Not to start a big fight, but I think wrestlers are athletes waaaaay more than Nascar drivers.

It's incredibly hypocritical of him if he goes to TNA. He has ripped them on multiple occasions when he was with WWE. He's an idiot in his personal life. Like James said, it's all about money.

Everyone rips the competition. Listen to early Kurt Angle interviews, ripping WWE. Then he was thinking about coming back.

Everyone does that, and ends up jumping ship, unless you're Sting or Shawn Michaels, who are about the only guys who never jumped to another company.
