Friday night is murder because a lot of people are going out and not sitting around the tube. One of the reasons why Smackdown continues to do well is that they have a huge Hispanic draw.......which IMPACT does not have. I get what your saying, start with baby steps and take on each brand one at a time until they are ready.

I think if they wanted to try and compete with WWE they'd be stupid NOT to try in March. They just had their best ratings ever with Hogan and company on board. While the train is moving, hop on! I also agree that the audience for TNA is the alternative/ex-WCW fan who is sick of the current G-rated WWE. They don't have to match WWE draw ratings, they just need to improve their own to be successful, and I think a lot of people don't realize that.. TNA doesn't have nearly the overhead of the WWE..

I think TNA will win the ratings wars for a couple of years. WWE dosen't know how to use bright young talent, they recycle fro JohnCena, Triple H and others. The only way TNA will lose is if they aquire the BIG Show from the wwe, he is just unwatchable. Now all they need is to get a better video game to market. Impact was crap. Once they get a decent game they will be in it for the long run.

Catching the last 20 mins of Impact this week....why did they have to blur out Tara's chest during the match? Just seemed really weird.

I figured she had a little slippage.

Yeah, that's what I thought but I didn't really see anything...and it didn't seem like any of the other knockouts were showing less cleavage lol

TNA won't win the ratings against Raw for a long long time, if ever. Impact is absolutely horrible when compared to Raw.

I didn't like the last match last night at all...Boring as hell for 2 minutes and then Foley's distracted by a picture and gets pinned? WTF?

Seemed very odd, I hated that part too. They should of ended with the Samoa Joe/Diniero/Flair/Styles match and segment.

Yeah, it's not like TNA doesn't have talent or quality matches...And I didn't see the entire ep of Impact either. Just seemed odd that in the last half hour you get the Knockouts match and then 2 old guys in a lame squash. Not really a buildup to anything quality.

I understand that WWE is based off of a lot of old guys, like Hunter, Undertaker, Michaels, Bret Hart, etc. But apparently they know how to do it, because usually I'm pretty entertained by WWE. TNA is just pathetic. I don't want to see Nash, Hall, Syxx, Hogan, Flair, Foley, etc. They are all really washed up. Foley has always sucked, although he's done some cool bumps, Nash and Hall can't really go anymore, Flair has retired so many times it's ridiculous, and Hogan thinks he has the mind of McMahon, when obviously he doesn't - or he wouldn't be hiring all of McMahon's used up trash.

Since Hogan has taken TNA over, I've had my hopes up that they'd change for the good, and been hugely disappointed. I think it's worse now.

I also think that AJ turning into Ric Flair Jr. is a bad idea, as he was doing fine as AJ Styles. I understand having Flair as a manager, and that is a cool idea, but having AJ act like Flair, yell like Flair, etc, is a bad idea.

I know that this is all my opinion, but I think that many probably feel the same way I do. I know, also there are many that will completely disagree with me, and that's fine.

To me it seems that they are just using these people as names and maybe its worked since they've be consistently getting their top ratings since the new year. Nash is the only one who has really been in the ring over the last year. Foley had a little run early last year but has been in maybe 4 or 5 matches the last 6 months.

But who knows they might stick all of these guys in the ring soon. I hope they don't because I'd much rather see the other talent on the roster.
