I would imagine they'd get more viewers. But this would go against the narrative that the purpose of the show is to prevent AEW from getting a million+ viewers every week.Comment

Time to move Main Event to Wednesday nights!
Perhaps it's a USA Network move? They dont care about "we want to be on Wednesdays because they're on Wednesdays" stuff. They just want NXT to get as many viewers as possible.
Although NXT JUST signed a deal in Canada to air the show live on Wednesdays. Maybe other countries outside the US will get NXTs on Wednesdays still but US gets it live on Tuedays?Comment

The AEW marks are going to claim this is because of AEW but it is really about the fact NBCSN is shutting down and all NHL Games on Wednesdays are moving to USA Network. Nothing WWE can really do about it but I still think it's funny AEW marks think they own Wednesday Nights as if NXT hadn't been on Wednesdays since 2014.Comment

Um.....
A Thursday night HOF in a regular year I guess would be fine to kick off WM weekend since that's really only day you could do it. And you don't need 10,000+ fans in attendance for that. The entire upper level should be fans, but we should never see fans occupying the 100 level or floor seats ever again.
The fans who are in for the entire weekend could get there Thursday and make it a 5 day trip, MAYBE 6 if NXT on Tuesday happens in the arena where HOF,SD,Takeover and Raw are held.
As for this year, I really dont know what they do with the HOF. If WM is 3 hours each night, maybe we get a 2 night HOF? Prerecorded on Friday, but only filmed with WWE talent and family present like those traditional award in some banquet hall with dinner tables everywhere. You could probably split the HOF up into two 2 hour blocks.
Hall of Fame from 4-6
Preshow from 6-7
WM from 7-10

Well as I said, I could see Cole beating Finn for the Championship setting up a Championship Match with KOR and next week is the first step. It's Adam Cole vs Finn Balor for the NXT Championship. I'm curious if this is going to be a straight up finish where Cole wins or if KOR returns setting up a major Triple Threat for Mania Takeover.
I just can't see Finn losing the title next week unless his Takeover opponent costs him the match so Cole vs KOR could be for the title.Comment

I wonder what's up with the Pearce/ref stuff.
From the stuff with Strowman on Raw, the reemergence of Shane, and now him randomly appearing on NXT (despite NXT having a GM) and bringing in a Raw official to call for the submission on the non legal superstar, something has to be up here.
The Gargano Therapy stuff was funny. Guess they weren't able to get Dr.Shelby right now (although, what a list for him. Bryan, Kane, Sasha, Bayley, even "Harold" too!).
I want to see a custody of Theory match with Gargano vs Lumis. Theory is conflicted on whose side he wants to be on, and ultimately ends up helping the winner.
He was named a top 40 wrestler of the year in 2018, won the impact world title, tag title (with Scott Steiner) among other things too.
He had stints in WWE briefly before. Seems like the only reason things didnt work out was because of issues he had with Bill Demott, which as we know, probably means he was the victim (I don't think he wasn't one of the names who spoke out against Demotts harassment allegations though)Last edited by Majingir; 03-04-2021, 08:04 PM.Comment

I saw a funny NXT commercial that I know has been airing for a while, but I only now took note.
One commercial goes "If you want no BS. Then this is for you".
Funny because Paul Wights new shirt says "No more BS".
None of those are related to each other, but I found it funny they're both using the same line for diff reasons.Comment

2 big announcement happening tomorrow.
Any guesses what it could be? The first one seemed like it happened after Regal and Pearce were talking during to the controversial finish to the womens tag title match. Perhaps we see a WM womens tag title match with NXT involved?
As for the second, I'd say it has to do with NXT moving to Tuesday nights after WM.Comment

2 night Takeover! Technically not the first 2 night event is it? Didn't they do a 2 night show before? Great American Bash? Though night 2 they said exclusively on Peacock? What does this mean for the rest of the world?
And nxt women's tag titles? The main roster doesn't even need their own version based on how poorly they've been booked. Should've just moved the main roster tag titles to NXT and given womens division another title on main roster that could be defended on any brand, like the 24/7 title.Comment
