Adam Cole lost and was working via verbal agreement as his contract has actually expired. He can leave at anytime and show up anywhere without a no-compete clause.


Who thinks we just saw the last of him in NXT/WWE? My $ is on AEW since all his good friends are there.

We'll all find out on Monday, Wednesday or Friday.

I'd put my money on him going to AEW too, most of his buddies are there after all (and his fiancé), but maybe Vince made him a good enough offer to stay and might (huge MIGHT) push him.

Yeah he could show up at AEW om Wednesday, probably best to save him for a surprise debut at All Out but he could show up on Smackdown to go after Nakamura and the IC Title too. I imagine he will likely go to AEW with the re-branding of NXT and no guarantee to stay there as long as he wants.

AEW is getting very crowded very fast with the potential of all these ex-WWE guys. Spoilers just in case anyone has been living under a rock (and these aren't confirmed, just speculation):

Have Joe relinquish and just do a tournament.

I love Samoa Joe, but he didn’t look good tonight. I don’t know if it was ring rust or a combo of that + his size & age but he was a step or two behind most of the night. Not Goldberg or Undertaker level of sad, but still.

Both their matches were so good. This was so much better than the last one and that one was also insane. last night's match might've been one of my favorite matches I've seen.
