I wouldn't be surprised. It wasn't a real long match either, and seems random to do it now, so soon into both their reigns.

And feels like Jaida could be next to face her for the Women's title. Wonder who faces her for the NA title, probably Jordynne?

I would do a triple threat for both belts at Stand and Deliver. First fall NA, second fall Worlds.

I felt like that too. It was rushed. They both weren't champions that long, especially Stephanie. And the match wasn't very long.

Vaquer defending both titles tonight.

They posted the question...who was the last wwe talent to defend/retain two different titles in the same night?

Rollins and Becky both lost their titles when defending both in the same night.

Spears: Ricky, if things don't work out here you could always go back to.....never mind, you burnt every bridge you've crossed.

That seemed pointless.

They do this whole title vs title story, Stephanie wins, defends both titles in one night, now the very next week it's like "it's not fair she has to defend both titles, therefore she's vacating the women's North American title."

Yeah I hate that. Like see it through if you are going to have someone win two titles, have them defend both titles on a show or one title on TV before the PLE then the other at the PLE. Tell a story with it about how that superstar has to defend both titles and how eventually it will catch up to them, etc.

Ricky wins the NA title! Didn't think they'd do it this soon, thought they'd wait until Stand and Deliver.

Trick should be on the main roster after the draft and they need to resume the Trick/Melo pairing in some capacity.

So the NXT North American Championship match will likely be a Triple Threat at Stand & Deliver? Spears will want his rematch and Ethan now wants the championship.

Spears vs Ricky Saints vs Ethan Page... an all AEW match for a NXT Championship.

Giulia is back and going after the NXT Women's title.

So to sum it up...
Giulia wins the NXT women's title

Stephanie wins the NXT women's NA title

Stephanie beats Giulia to also win the NXT women's title

Stephanie then vacates the NXT women's NA title

Giulia then faces Stephanie for the NXT women's title?

So to go from point A to B they had to go to C, D, E first? Or the funnier saying I heard recently. They drove around the block to cross the street.

It kinda works if you work backwards from the idea of turning Giulia heel off the title loss. Giulia and Stephanie are 1a and 1b of the NXT women's division - at this point they're the only ones who can credibly beat the other (Roxanne could too but she's in a weird spot right now) so they kinda had to have a match.

Beating Giulia and then defending both titles in one night builds Stephanie up even more for the inevitable feud. Vacating the NA Title is a weird move after all that, but defending it once at least gave it a little something.

As you said, it's definitely not the shortest route to take, but it still gets you to the Giulia vs Vaquer feud with both of them still looking good.
