Re: WWE: NXT Thread
Seriously, Tyson Kidd/Michael McGillicutty could feud the rest of the year, and I'd be totally okay with it. First of all, they're keeping it entertaining and fresh, and not just promoing the **** out of it like they would if it were on Raw or Smackdown and
SpoilerWith the introduction of the new NXT Championship, there's a whole new additive to the potential feud. For those who don't know, and are reading this, they're holding a tournament, and while neither are in the final round(yet to be taped, IIRC) It could be a fantastic feud after the initial winner drops the title and potentially moves up to the main roster.
I'm not too sad that Bray Wyatt is out, his character has mad potential, and in all honesty the amount of ways they can play with this injury, with his character, are nearly limitless. You can have him mentor someone to be like him, as Windham can speak just fine. Have him generic heel turn on him when he's cleared to wrestle again, and boom mini-feud, the audience never stops caring about Bray Wyatt, and you give someone else a shot that you might be able to find a mouthpiece for in the future(or use him as squash fodder)
Seth Rollins/Tyler Black's character is much like Chris Hero's to me, they're both just too contrived. You look at the top feuds of the year, and top characters of the year, they all have something in common, very little of a gimmick is needed. While I understand that this is training ground and everything, the amount of overacting they seem to do right now is a tad disconcerting. Rollins/Black himself is enough of a character without the weird *** headbanging entrance. With his character as currently constructed, I see him topping out at Upper Mid Card, and the dude has Main Event potential. Hero has enough talent to make it there as well. But in his one match I thought his "Oh No" taunt was one of the worst things about it. I mean, I get it and everything, but it just doesn't quite work for me.
The Ascension seem like a good tag team, but they seem to be better suited to a show that would have more production value. But if the WWE ever gives a flying **** about their tag division again, THEY ACTUALLY HAVE A PRETTY GOOD ONE RIGHT NOW, HINT HINT VINCE. The PrimeTime Players are great, and with AW as a mouthpiece they'll get better. The Usos have taken the mantle of my favorite tag team. Hunico and Camacho work well together, and don't need to be wasted in singles matches. Hawkins and Reks have shown great chemistry, Primo and Epico and the other team they debuted on NXT would be great squash fodder for the division. It's nothing spectacular, but it's been much worse, and part of me hopes thatSpoilerNXT gets tag belts to go with their WHT, as most of the teams still compete on NXT
Either way if you STILL haven't checked out Kidd/McGillicutty here's a link to get started. There's a few more matches/encounters now. But it is Gold. So simple.Support Local Sports

Re: WWE: NXT Thread
So I just saw JR say that this is an actual wrestling show and not like the Tough Enough type seasons. I had no idea. I'll definitely start watching now.Originally posted by MoJust once I'd like to be the one they call a jerk off.Originally posted by MoYou underestimate my lazinessOriginally posted by Mo**** ya
