Why are we treating WWE like its regular sports now and age matters for pushing people? I mean yeah Ric Flair ain't getting a world title anytime soon, but I think we're seeing lately that anyone can get a push at any time regardless of age.

You're splitting hairs when most of the divas on the roster are around the same age as Charlotte. Bella Twins weren't **** before they finally got their big push at age 30. Divas in general don't have a long shelf life anyways, but yall are making it seem like Charlotte's going on 40.

You keep bringing up the Bellas. They're getting the big Total Divas push now, but they've been a prominent focus of the divas division for seven years, and first won the title individually three (Nikki) and four (Brie) years ago. If we're going to use them as the standard, I guess look for Charlotte to get her big push when she's 35.

Charlotte will get more chances than most because of who her father is, but WWE usually pushes divas in their early 20's and by the time they hit Charlotte's age they've had established WWE careers.

Maybe having NXT will skew that older in the future because they can leave women down to develop more, but in the typical WWE sense she's really behind the curve in terms of how they progress divas' careers.

Age matters for divas just because they tend to retire so young. AJ was 28. Kaitlyn was 26. Eve Torres was 28. Beth Phoenix was just shy of 32. Michelle McCool was 31. Lita was 31. Trish was 30. Of current WWE divas, only Rosa, Natalya, Layla, and Tamina are older than the Bellas are over 32. And can't you see the Bellas, especially Brie, retiring soon to start a family? Because once you start that, your wrestling career is probably over.

I think you guys are also underrating the fact of who the Bellas are married to/dating.

Eh, I don't think that really affected their current push especially when they were doing lots of other things outside wrestling just about the time they got to WWE. I would say the fact that the Bellas get so many interviews/media appearancees is the big reason why they're the face of the diva's division.

Charlotte just started wrestling so the idea of calling her old in any context just seems weird to me. It's not like she's been slogging away on the indies for 10 years. So bringing up her age in relation to other women that retired early still isn't really relevant.

If WWE really saw her age as a factor for any push they could've easily hot shot her to the main roster when she signed and strapped the belt on her. I'm still not buying that she won't be pushed for long or as hard bc of her age, which I think is what the original argument was right?

My argument was that the fact that she's already 29 may make them more inclined to shoot her to the main roster rather than wait longer in NXT, even if she isn't ready character wise (she's clearly ready from a match quality srandpoint). I'm actually kinda surprised she's not up now. Having NXT divas come up and join Paige against the Bellas makes so much sense.

I'd throw some money at a Kickstarter to get Samoa Joe a new theme song.

I can't think of a worse theme in wrestling. Its so bad it kills the crowd.

On another note, The Boss and Charlotte had another great match on NXT, big surprise there. PLEASE DON'T RUIN THESE WOMEN VINCE! PLEASE!!!

They just need to fix the part of his theme after the first 5 or so seconds on it. I hope the only reason they have the theme the way it is right now, is just so that when he debuts on main roster, it's a surprise cause it's a theme you've never heard before.

Also, NXT Takeover in Brooklyn is sold out in a matter of a few minutes! 100 and 200 levels! Gonna feel bad for anyone competing on Summerslam the next night. This event will outshine them so much.

Supposedly Joe is getting a new theme, probably will debut it at Takeover.

Joe had his new theme this week. Sounds like a CFO$ version of his first theme, so eh.

Tyler Breeze just hanging out was a funny visual.

Eva Marie's big return was...a slow-paced match. You can see she's gone from not knowing what to do at all to thinking too far ahead. But it's one match and more matches will help her confidence. I didn't like her opponent's kick-based offense - too stilted.

Is this crowd really going to boo every time Brooklyn is mentioned? How stupidly petty of them.

Samoa Joe's new theme is better. There was really nowhere to go but up. LOL

Eva Marie looked like a robot out there but hopefully she'll get better as she gains confidence. Dana has improved dramatically in a short period of time so anything is possible.

I'm happy the takeovers are moving away from florida. This crowd is really starting to annoy me.

I guess to be fair to the crowd, it's not the whole place. The Brooklyn boos seemed to be more widespread, but the dumb "let's just chant a bunch of **** every match" that goes on seems to be/sounds like the same 5-10 dudes every show.
