Damn, that was supposed to look neater than that... anyway...

It is surprising to me that considering he has been a main event caliber wrestler for most of his career and has appeared in 17 Wrestlemania events that The Undertaker has only main evented the show twice. That to me is the most shocking stat of all.

Thanks for bringing this back to my attention, as I totally forgot about it due to a hectic schedule this week. I have more to add to this and will very soon.

As far as what I think his most meaningful win was, I would say it was easily his WM 13 over Sycho Sid for the strap. At that time, Sid was being pushed to the moon and it was also the first time 'Taker main evented the show. That also turned out to be the start of his first real title run of any substance as well. He held it for six days 5+ years prior to this win, but that was a meaningless reign to set up Ric Flair winning the belt at the Royal Rumble that year.

Why is that interesting? A 5 minute main event wouldn't be much of a WM headliner... Of course as the importance of your matches increases, the match length would too..

It's interesting because at 40+ he's able to have a 20 min + match and tell a great story. For some wrestlers, once they hit their 40's it's all down hill and they start having squash matches, or no DQ matches to substitute for their lack of ability.

The one guy that really could have benefited from ending the streak was Randy Orton back in 2005. Seems pointless ending Taker's run now, HBK should have put his hair on the line instead.
