Smackdown moving to SyFy ... and

NXT is going bye-bye after this season. I still think putting SD on Fridays is a mistake, and it should go back to Thursday, or even show it live on Tuesdays.

Well, I like that I can watch SmackDown without jumping through hoops, but I'm going to miss NXT. It's the little show that could, and I love it, personally.

Oh well, it is what it is.

I am glad SD is moving to Syfy because MyNetwork in Chicago is horrible. SD was getting pre-empted here for high school basketball games and other crap which was shifting the show to different times on Friday and even Saturday a few times.

Now the drawback w/ Syfy is that its a premium channel................it costs extra for me w/ Comcast, not too sure on other providers. They will lose viewers.

I'd be shocked if they lost viewers going from MyNetworkTV (which is a station I didn't know existed before SD moved) to Syfy. Plus, WWE is already a presence on Syfy, with NXT. So if people have USA and get bombarded with commercials for NXT with Syfy, I'd be willing to think that they either already have it or would be willing to get it to see SD.

Ratings will go down 15-20% most experts have said b/c Syfy isn't in as many homes as MyNetworkTV.
