Best match of the night was no doubt the Tag Team match. When you have two capable teams and one extremely good team with chemistry going at it for a while, that is what you'll get. Let's of good almost finishes and the like.

Orton dislocating his arm while pounding the mat might be the oddest, most hilarious injury ever. Not sure if something happened before...but needless to say, I'm sad Orton will be gone. OTOH, this match SUCKED before Orton destroyed his arm.

Punk vs Rey was a great match that had a bad ending. I never like settling feuds through a fluky win and that was definitely how Rey won. However, there is one thing that pissed me off and really, pissed me off the WHOLE night....

Let the damn guys bleed. In the middle of a match, if a guy is bleeding like he got slashed with a sword, fine. But for a little bit of blood like Punk and Cena...just let it go. We can handle it, PG doesn't mean you have to be absolutely ******* when it comes to blood. It's wrestling, it's a fight...it makes it totally unrealistic and less passionate if you take blood out of it.

The absolute worst stoppage was in the middle of an I Quit match and they stopped it to let Cena get cleaned up. It's an I Quit match and you're giving the guy "medical attention" so he can continue the match? Think about that for a second and let that settle in.

If a dude bleeds, then he bleeds but don't interrupt a match just to clean someone off. It's stupid and unrealistic.

Maryse might be the hottest woman in the world. When she does that hair flip, it's on like freakin Donkey Kong. Total giggity.
Yeah, I don't get the whole stop everytime a guy shows a trace of blood thing. I mean heck, even back in the cartoon-era 80's guys were bleeding and it was shown on TV.

WWE has gone so far over the top it really does make the product difficult to watch at times. I hate that they don't use the term "fans" anymore, it's "WWE Universe". That is beyond silly.

It's also annoying that the commentators rarely call the action of the match; they are just there to push the company's slogans and storylines along.

This is what happens when corporate suits with no real interest in pro wrestling start taking major positions in the company. It becomes all about "branding" the product instead of producing quality professional wrestling.

Oh, I mean "sports entertainment" because I forgot "wrestling" is a taboo word in WWE.

CM Punk looked annoyed as all hell when they came in to stitch him up.

Every "big" spot minus the announce table powerslam in the I Quit match was hokey and lame. The balcony fall was onto about 5 huge dudes...and it was about 4 feet.

The car spot was stupid, when will they learn that these car stunts never work. The final FU through the stage was horribly staged....you could see the carpeting. Lame. Lame. Lame.

Sorry, I have to end my recap of this ppv....I just got a paper cut have to go get cleaned up.

Are people really saying "Whoops, Randy's gone, looks like I won't watch RAW for four months now." What the hell did you people do for the rest of the 1 hour 45 minutes a night he wasn't on?

And he might even be on tonite. It's just a separated shoulder, he still could have mic time.

Man, I still remember those updates Orton used to do back in the day when he first hurt his shoulder. They were hilarious and really helped get him over while he was on the shelf.

I think it's wonderful. 2 of them are horrible and the other needs to do something different.

                  Injuries from this show:

Randy Orton as previously reported suffered a separated shoulder, Ted Dibiase suffered a concussion, CM Punk needed 13 staples to close the cut in his head and Batista suffered some sort of tail bone injury in his match with John Cena.

Guess Punk's cut was worse than it looked and Batista DID let the door hit him in the *** on his way out.

This PPV turned out to be utter chaos with all the match stoppages and the Orton injury. The finish to Cena/Batista wasn't that great and they obviously had to take the cheap way out in the Swagger/Big Show match.

RAWs main event scene is looking scarce now, but that gives some of the younger talent a chance to move up and get some major airtime. At least now we're done with Cena/Batista and can move on to Cena/Sheamus round 2. The real question is, if Orton is on the shelf for a significant amount of time, who's going to feud with Edge? I hope they don't bring Trips back just because of Orton's injury.

Flip back and forth between other channels, or watch when I know Orton's match/segment is going to take place.

Swagger got intentionally DQ'd after like 3 minutes tops.

Not trying to pick on you or anything, but how are you ever gonna see good new talent? Or improved talent? I mean I'm as big a Randy fan as there is, but between Jericho, the Miz, Edge, Hart Dyansty, Ted DiBiase...you're bound to find just as good promos/matches if not better than Orton's.

No, you're fine, man. I usually will watch a good deal of Raw or just catch it on YouTube the next day/later that night and skip to the parts I want to see. But I can't remember the last time I watched every match/segment of Raw.

A part of it was just me overreacting about Orton's injury and realizing we still have Cena.

Alright haha I feel you on that. Some miscommunication I guess.

Anyone else feel they wasted Randy on Raw last night? I mean, hold the guy out until the Monday before the PPV since he wont be competing until then anyways, and at 11:00 with Cena, Edge, and Sheamus duking it out in the ring, have RKO's music hit. That pop would shatter the house after a near month without him.
