Re: Fatal 4 Way - 6/20
The Miz's rap was awesome
I love how Cole continues to support Miz outside of NXTCo-Commish of the OS Vets I & II

Yeah, the crowd really brought down the Miz match.
They're not too into the Harts-Usos either. Hopefully they'll wake up for the main eventCo-Commish of the OS Vets I & II

Sheamus wins and we get a PPV ending 25 minutes before 10pm. Kinda disappointingCo-Commish of the OS Vets I & II

Re: Fatal 4 Way - 6/20
I'm not. I wanted Orton to win and now I don't see it happening for awhile as HHH will probably be the next champion after Sheamus.
Orton would have been fun as the target of the NXT7. It would have been cool to see him flip it and hunt them, picking them off one at a time. Would have been awesome and fit right in line with his "Apex Predator/ Silent Assassin" gimmick.Comment

Kofi/Drew was really,really good.
Women's match was average, yay for Foxy winning.
Jericho/Bourne also really,really good.
SD title match was a bit odd but good overall.
Miz/Truth just felt kinda lifeless.
@ Miz's rap attempt.
Hart's/Uso's was decent enough.
Gotta love NXT messing stuff up again.Comment

Yeah, if you want to see NXT get buried quick that'd be a great idea.I'm not. I wanted Orton to win and now I don't see it happening for awhile as HHH will probably be the next champion after Sheamus.

I'm still intrigued as to where this all leads.
I figure Barrett should get a title shot at MITB. Barrett vs. Sheamus wouldn't make sense, so it'd have to be Rey vs. Barrett. But then where does that leave Swagger, who should get his rematch clause?
I figure Summerslam will see Rey vs. Punk, Sheamus vs. HHH, and Cena vs. Barrett. Does that leave Orton vs. Edge? What about Undertaker, who should be back by then? Taker vs. Kane? What about Big Show, who's quickly been forgotten about. And that's not mentioning Miz, Y2J, etc.
Alot of questions going forward, which I enjoyCo-Commish of the OS Vets I & II

Re: Fatal 4 Way - 6/20
Sorry I didn't post at all during the event, but I had some people over to watch the show.
My thoughts:
McIntyre vs. Kofi was decent up until the ending. Matt Hardy is going to pay for interfering in the match, as is Teddy Long for screwing Drew out of an actual clean win. Mr. McMahon is not going to be very happy and Long might be looking for a new job come Friday night.
Divas match was stupid but I got to see Maryse wink so whatever.
Jericho vs. Bourne was the MotN by far. Good promo by Jericho to start the match that wasn't the same old stuff from him too. Bourne is a pretty damn good wrestler and is getting a really big push as of late but truth be told, I can never see him ever elevating past midcard status no matter what.
WHC Fatal 4 Way match was lame. There were a few cool spots where Punk and Mysterio were teaming up to take out Big Show and Swagger but other than that, bleh! Kane interfering was pretty lame, but even lamer was letting Mysterio become a World Champion for the second time. One title reign for this useless midget was more than enough. The dude is already way more over than he needs to be so why put the strap on him? Now all we're going to hear about on SmackDown for weeks to come is how Rey is the ultimate underdog and how he did it for his "familia" or some other stupid crap. The only reason he was even in this match in the first place was because he botched a move and hurt the Undertaker. Man, I hate Rey Mysterio.
Miz vs. Truth was very boring and played out. Terrible place to put it after a WHC match too. They were just too overshadowed. Hell, my friends and I were still talking about how useless Mysterio is and the next thing you know, the Miz has won the match.
Mixed tag match was pretty cool and it's a good thing it wasn't for the belts because the Uso brothers have only had one match in the WWE before tonight. It was also cool seeing Natalya getting some burn. I have been telling my friends for the past year or so that the only reason they don't let her wrestle with the other Divas is because she would make them all look pretty bad as far as actual wrestling goes. Tonight was proof of that.
WWE Championship 4 Way match was exactly what it needed to be: a glorified spotfest by the four big name main event guys that turned into an ambush. I predicted a Sheamus victory due to NXT interference right before the PPV started tonight and it looks like I nailed it. It was pretty cool seeing Cena, Edge and Orton all laid out at the hands of the NXT 7 and the show closing with them chasing Sheamus out of the arena since no one is safe.
In any event, Raw should be quite interesting tomorrow to say the least.Last edited by 55; 06-20-2010, 10:04 PM.Comment

Re: Fatal 4 Way - 6/20
Taker had his orbital bone completely shattered. He cannot even see out of his right eye right now. He's going to be out for quite some time. Hell, if he appears before the Royal Rumble I will be very shocked.Comment
