Went to check the Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online and it seems that their website crashed, must be a lot of pissed of wrestling fans.

How they continue Nexus? Have them beat up Cena again tomorrow night. Simple.

And come on, you guys were really expecting a team of guys that in January wasn't even on TV to beat Edge, Jericho, Cena, Bret Hart, Morrison and R-Truth? The Nexus greatest strenght is their numbers advantage, so, when they were matched, they lost. The ONLY major gripe that I have with the match it's the ending, but they can claim that Cena was lucky...

          Re: SummerSlam 2010 - 8/15/10

First off that crowd came off as awful.

Kofi vs. Dolph - It was ok until the non-ending. I guess Nexus had to mess up something and there was no way Kofi was winning anyway.

Alicia vs. Melina - That was just kinda awkward, guess Melina is hurt again. LayCool were just trying to be nice and Melina beat them up for no reason...nonsense! My initial thought was she didn't like pictures but remembered her entrance.

Big Show vs. S.E.S - That was kinda horrible. Striker reminding all of us how Punk was in the main event last year didn't help. Came off as useless filler really.

Orton vs. Sheamus - This was one of the worst Summerslam title matches I can remember. King Mo vs. Undertaker being the other. Orton is just horrible. Towards the end when they countered each others moves was cool but other than that and the RKO on the table ick.

Kane vs. Rey - I enjoyed this match despite Rey logically having no chance and the "uncomfortable hush". Probably came off better than it actually was after following the rest of this crap.

Nexus vs. WWE - Great, great, great, great, hmm Skip gone before Slater?,great,great,great,great...KERPLUNK! Barrett had to at least pin Cena. If they had to lose it should've been Bryan.

The main event for Raw was announced at Fan Axxess btw,Nexus isn't done. Though the note was that it could be a dark match.

It was a great, GREAT PPV

Until they effed up the end with horrible booking and Super Cena. People want to know why others hate Cena...well, tonight is exhibit A. Gives Bryan a horrible intro then goes Super Cena. Granted the 2nd part is not his fault, but I doubt he's fighting for a different ending.

This better not end the Nexus angle. If it does, I'm going to be extremely pissed.

              Re: SummerSlam 2010 - 8/15/10

My thoughts on/review for each match tonight:

1- Ziggler/Kingston had the potential to be a great match, but I totally understand why they had the Nexus break up the match. They didn't want to take the belt off of Ziggler yet since he just got it and at the same time they didn't want Kingston to lose to the same opponent 4 weeks in a row either. It also helped give the Nexus some heat heading into their main event match later that evening by breaking up a very good match right off the bat and pissing the crowd off.

2- Alicia/Melina was really bad. Melina is an aging one trick pony that has no reason to be champion. However, I did like Lay-Cool coming down to the ring after the match and doing a number on her. Hell, they even beat up Alicia a little bit.

3- SxExS/Big Show was pretty boring but was basically just there for storyline purposes. Big Show got the win and Punk didn't have to job to him either. Good for both guys. I liked the fact that they have been teasing on the SxExS walking out on Punk and by him leaving them behind tonight it only elevated that. If you remember, Punk was a main eventer at about 6 consecutive PPV events before forming the SxExS and since then he has lost as many matches as he has won. Punk is better on his own and for him to be elevated back to the main events status that he deserves, he needs to ditch the SxExS in my opinion.

4- Sheamus/Orton was really good. It was a lot better than I thought it was going to be anyway. Both guys looked really good in a lot of places during the match and I believe they both did an excellent job telling a story and playing off of one another in the ring. I was rather bummed out that The Miz didn't attempt to cash in on Sheamus after he got the RKO on the table (especially after his whole celebrity stalker promo) but I'm sure they're saving that moment for a better spot.

5- Kane/Mysterio was boring until the last two minutes but the finish made it all worth it. Mysterio has zero business being the WHC and now it looks as if he is completely out of the picture which is a great thing. Obviously they're setting up for a Kane/Taker feud and I don't see any fathomable way for Kane to still be holding the title after that one. Even if Taker doesn't win the belt at Night Of Champions next month, keep in mind that Hell In A Cell is only two weeks after NoC this year and we all know about HiaC matches and Taker! In the meantime, as CM Punk builds his character back up that will open the door to another Taker/Punk feud for October or November, just like last year. The only other top heel on SD besides Punk is Swagger and I think we'd all rather see Taker in a new feud with Punk than with Swagger.

6- 7 on 7 elimination match was great. It also told quite a story and while I didn't like the finish AT ALL, at least they didn't completely bury Nexus. The thing of it is though, Cena is already the most over guy in the company so he really didn't NEED to win tonight at all. Win or lose he still is the most over guy in the company regardless. However, a win tonight would have been HUGE for the Nexus especially for Barrett. I really hope the WWE doesn't screw this one up because up until tonight they hit lightning in a bottle with this Nexus angle. At least we got one of the best wrestlers in the world back in the WWE though now in Bryan and he already has a storyline/feud to go on and that is going after The Miz and his US title in retaliation for not only what happened to him tonight but also the hell he put him through back on NXT. AmDrag is back and that is the best thing that could have possibly happened tonight regardless of the outcome of any of the matches. Kudos to the WWE for being able to keep this one a secret and for surprising us all with something that was wanted.

I agree with all this man. I swear people are looking for the first reason to say something is "dead", someone is "buried", or the WWE "killed" some angle (or some other overreaction). I wonder to the people who constantly complain or armchair book, why do they watch? It doesn't make sense to me.

I watched the PPV at a Buffalo Wild Wings and the crowd there was going NUTS for Cena. It was insane. They marked the F- out when Barrett tapped. I just smiled at the people I was with and said, "the people got what they wanted, and the Nexus didn't get buried", so all in all it was not too bad. The only thing I disagreed with was Cena getting DDT's on concrete, taken out completely, then coming back to beat two men. I don't think it kills the angle and I'm glad that the Nexus held their own (looking strong along the way), but the ending could have been better. The angle will be fine though.

My questions are, will Orton get another shot since he didn't lose? If so, I hope he wins at NOC, since I'll be there live (I'll mark out like crazy!!)! And, can you believe that neither Cena or Bryan turned and Nexus remains those 7 guys?? That's crazy to me. I'm REALLY excited for Raw (WWE/ RAW gets all my props for putting on some great programming lately that I've been excited for).

Now that I'm calm. I didn't like ending only because we have seen it 10,000 times. Super Cena is getting old. Like you said Dislimb, they didn't need Cena to go over there. And for the record, I am not mad at Cena, I like Cena. Its just bad booking.

LOVE than Danielson is back. I figured they would bring him back at some point, I was just worried he wouldn't want to come back.

Overall, great PPV until the ending.

The sad thing is, so many of the WWE stars could be comparable at least to Bryan, but the WWE limits them so much.

Team WWE winning is FINE. But why the hell have Cena do that...again? That was one of the stupidest decisions I have seen in a while. At least have Cena/Barret duke it out for awhile. But no, his un-technical *** pulls Barret into the STFU (which has about 10,000 times more credibility than the Walls, which is a crying shame, even if Jericho finally dropped someone with it tonight.) And Gabriel just misses his move and he's done too.

I know a lot fo you see Cena as some glorious company man who talks well, and he is, but I'm so shocked to see people say he can wrestle well for the spot he is in. I understand the WWE limits people and the main event isn't exactly about wrestling, but I'm just so rarely entertained by his matches. The Big Show is as fun too watch in the ring, IMO.

While I hate the Super Cena stuff as the next guy, the ending made complete sense.

You can't put over Nexus over WWE. As someone said, these are a bunch of nobodies who weren't even on TV a few months ago. Their strength is out numbering whoever they are going up against. No way that 7 of Nexus can beat the 7 WWE put out there, but they came close. That's going to keep this angle going.

I can see someone (maybe Danielson) joining them. Hell, maybe the 2nd season cast off's join. Who knows, but this hardly kills the angle.
