SVR 2012 (not 2011). Clarifcation on something THQ's Blison said.

I was reading a blurb on a couple sites that had interviewed Blison from THQ. I was trying to figure out some of what he said.

I thought I read that SVR would come out every 2yrs now. Did I see that right or was I wrong?

Blison also said that they wanted to release a WWE game every 6 months.

That (and I quote) "the other SKUs are more friendly, easier and less simmy," Bilson said."

    I'm confused.

every 6 months? they better not be charging no more than $30 for it. no way in hell im paying 120 in one year for these games.

im cool with them releasing a game every 2 years with "roster updates" every month for new wrestlers and/or returning wrestlers. if a wrestler gets cut, they remove him from the game. then you make a couple of legends DLC.
"on hoping there is a PSN flash sale before Valentine's Day"
Man there are no flashers... now what are we going to do for vd
I'm sure there's plenty of prostitutes you could pay if you really want vd.
yea but will they take psn cards
Depends on what area of a hooker you would use to redeem them.

    lol

They have 3 titles right now.
Smackdown vs Raw, All-Stars, and an online game that's only in Korea. It was stated that they had a couple other WWE related games they were working on, but not announced yet.

I'm just wondering and hoping for SVR too have a 2yr development time and then have DLC release for it every few months with new wrestlers that have officially been made by Yukes/THQ.

I can't imagine them not releasing a new SVR every year. It just makes too much money. If they go to a 2 year dev cycle for the series, I'd expect it to be on the Call of Duty model where 2 different developers are working on the series and alternating years to release their version, but there's still a release every year.

Svr is a yearly release just like madden ncaa football or any other sports game. What you are reading on the sites is false info my friend. I follow SD vs Raw serias like I do madden. It is a yearly cycle release period.
