    SVR Idea:Custom Finisher Package

I'm a big fan of the SVR series and have enjoyed all the customization features they've been able to produce over the years. Yet, like most diehard fans of the series, I've also been disappointed at times with the mediocrity of the gameplay, in particular the flow and realism of actual WWE wrestling on tv.

One big thing that always gets me is when I have to redo moves in the movesets, specifically finishers. Most of the time, the finishers can be out dated, miss assigned, or simply wrong, really dampening the experience. There are also cases when the you feel handcuffed by what finishers to choose from because of the fact that you're only allowed to use 2 finishers in their specified situations. IMO, this is unrealistic.

The best thing about finishers is their unpredictability. Finishers should just come out of no where, under whatever circumstance there could be. So, being a big NBA 2K fan as well, I'd like to see a Finisher Package feature for SVR Superstars.

One good example could be the RKO. Quick, lethal, spontanious... when you pull it off, it should come to a surprise not just to your opponent but to yourself. If there was a "RKO" package, not only would you be able to pull it off in the groggy front position and off the ground, but how about out of the turnbuckle, through a table, off the apron, off the rope rebound, out of a reversal (back, ground, front, ect.), and so on. Same with Sweet Chin Music. One of my favorite HBK Sweet Chin Musics was his stand still against Kurt Angle in at Wrestlemania 21 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqAs20OPeeU) or the RAW he assassinated Shelton Benjamin (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_DnRxJmhik).

Of course, these packages should be customizable as well, so you can have multiple finishers for different situations and there would be more variation to the end of matches.

Yes. Having the same finisher move from different positions is a bit annoying and in some cases cause other finishers or even that particular one to be moved to signature. There's always one left out. Though I don't like Orton he's the perfect example, there's like 4 different RKO's and the punt so what do you do with his stomp and backbreaker? The backbreaker can be moved to a regular grapple move but the stomp can only be a signature or finisher. With this idea you'd also be able to have more specific counters. Like the RKO from the Shooting Star or out of the AA. Shooting Star is another example, top rope, standing, springboard. Even the AA is an example, falling, standing, catching from a crossbody,to outside, middle rope.

I always felt that certain moves should be strung together to form a finisher. For instance, Eddie Guerrero (RIP) always did the 3 Amigos suplex followed by the Frog Splash. In the game, you could do the suplex and not be able to do the Frog Splash right after. It was a pain to try and time it right, so say they did a finisher from a groggy standing position where you did the suplexes then climbed the turnbuckle to execute the Frog Splash. Even if they did it like Legends of Wrestlemania where the finishers were a 3-button system. When you watch wrestling, everyone does a few big moves in a row, and it would be simpler than having to execute a signature move then get in position to do a finisher.

      A few more chain examples:
The Rock- Backbreaker to People's Elbow
Shawn Michaels- Elbow Drop to Sweet Chin Music
      Undertaker- Chokeslam to Tombstone

I'm sure there a few more, but those are the ones that stand out.

And please, fix the Chokeslam for both Undertaker and Kane. They don't just wait for a groggy opponent. They stand behind a downed opponent with their hand raised, and after the opponent slowly gets up and turns around, they do it. And for Kane, make sure he moves his fingers when he's getting ready.

OK I'm done ranting and wishing.
