On the small cards. If you want to take the time, you can add more matches to the shows. I just look at who is feuding at the moment and if they aren't on the card I'll put some kind of match together for them.

I believe I was wrong. When you do a custom match it appears to take the place of the match you are currently on. I just robbed Morrison of his US Championship shot because I wanted to add another match.

The way I'm doing Universe is to wrestle every match, the way the game sets it up. I'm not changing anything. And I pick whichever guy I like best, simple as that.

Since I haven't been watching WWE really in 2-3 years and am not familiar with guys like Jack Swaggar and Sheamus, I usually go the other way whenever those guys are involved in matches.

Conversely, I've taken a liking to the new Hart Foundation, so I'm trying to make those guys as badass as possible. They are my current tag champs and the short one with blonde hair is moving up the ranks for an IC title shot.

Whats up guys, i gotta say im loving this WWE universe. Just to clarify, i dont sim the matches, i just grab a superstar and go with the flow.

A funny thing happened to one of my guys though. I was controlling Kofi Kingston for a couple of months and i was having a fun feud with Drew Mcyntire (sp ?), when out of nowhere, i attacked him before a match and turned heel. The cheers turned into boos, and i became hated.

I loved it.

Has anyone else experience a heel turn unexpectedly ?

Is there any way to control that without editing the superstar ?

i set up a squash match for the undertaker vs santino and taker turn heel by attaking santino ..no may be the perfect time to bring back the ministry of darkness group and go up againts nexus

I'm going to play Universe with some friends this weekend. We'll each pick two guys on each show (a main eventer and a upper to mid card guy) and just let the Universe be our guide as far as matches and title shots. Should be fun, but I want to be able to start the mode over without losing my created player, downloaded content, etc. But that will happen if I delete my profile to start over I think.

I think I'm going with Orton/Miz on Raw and Swagger/Rhodes on Smackdown.

I don't like that we can't choose voluntarily to jump each other or interfere in each others matches. Also, if I win MITB can I choose when to cash it in, or will the CPU do it automatically? Can I do it after a friend wins a grueling title match?

I haven't had a chance to open my copy yet but for those looking to reset the Universe, I would think that just deleting your game save would work. If you've got a bunch of CAWs, could you maybe upload them as a community creation and then download them once you start over? I don't know for sure...just an idea.

Obviously, if there is a way to do it without deleting, that would be preferable.

IM ENJOYIng this universe mode. what im doing is im changing every match and picking random characters. that is so hot. everybody i unlock i put on either smackdown or raw so they will be part of the story. now i just got to download some caws and add them to the mix. now my question is if you put someone that say on ecw,when you do universe mode would they be affect in the ranking or it has to be either smackdown or raw?

Christian just won his first ever World Heavyweight Championship at Hell In A Cell against of all people, Edge! It was a really fun match and Christian (me) kicked out of two spears and it took two Killswitches to beat Edge (CPU) for the title. The match probably lasted somewhere in the neighborhood of 12-15 minutes too. It was very rewarding.

Going into their title match, both guys were faces but on the following SmackDown Edge came out and attacked Christian during a match with Jack Swagger to turn heel. Hopefully I can keep up the feud between Edge and Christian going for a while because it's one I have wanted to see in real life for a very long time. The fact that the title is involved is just the icing on the cake.

I love this game...

How in the world do you make a custom match at a PPV for any of the big titles? The Miz has faced Primo 4 straight PPV's and beat him 4 straight times. I wanted to make it someone else for the 5th PPV, but I can't make Miz defend the title if I make it a custom match.

The belts never change hands unless you play or you change them yourself. Really needs a patch to be able to defend them at all shows.

You need to do some custom matches leading up to the ppv and beat Primo to get him out of that number 1 conteder spot.
