Anyway, it was a good show for the simple fact that they didnt give Rey the shot.

I knew as soon as Edge got moved over to SmackDown that he would get a big push since he hasn't held a title in almost 18 months. They gave him a nice push from when he returned at the Royal Rumble this year all the way through WrestleMania, but after he lost at WrestleMania and got drafted to Raw he has been in complete limbo ever since.

Since there are a lot more young heels than faces on SmackDown (Swagger, Del Rio, McIntyre, Ziggler, Rhodes) I think having Edge as the champion to put one of those guys over would be a great thing. It's much more believable having one of those young heels beat Edge instead of Kane for the title anyway, especially since Kane just went over Taker three times in a row. You almost have to have a long time star to take the title off of Kane to make it even believable that he could lose it at this point which is where Edge comes in.

Edge isn't my favorite wrestler in the world by any means, but I would much rather see the belt on him than on either Mysterio or Big Show since those are the only other faces on SmackDown that could believably go over Kane at this point.

I just wish Christian wasn't hurt right now so he and Edge could get involved in some sort of program together. Oh well, maybe when he comes back from that shoulder injury.

Yeah, unfortunately he's out with a shoulder injury (which is why they let Del Rio "injure" him) for at least another two months or so. Perhaps he could possibly return at the Royal Rumble but any earlier than that would be a small miracle.

Not to gang up on you goh, but some of the stuff in the first post could be considered spoilers. Like Kofi teaming with Show wasn't announced till it happened.

I found it funny that right after "Dashing" Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre came up with a name for their tag-team, they broke up. That was a pretty good match with 'The Dashing Ones' against Big Show and Kofi.

Is it just me or does Big Show look like he's more mobile than a couple of years ago?

I'm liking that Kane is getting a long title reign. Guy has definitely put in the time and while his in-ring work isn't anything outstanding, I've found his promos to be really well done the past 4-5 months.

Edge as a face works and the 'Spear' chants are starting to grab on. I hope he wins the title from Kane and then feuds with Swagger or Del Rio for the title.

I still really dislike having Cole on the Smackdown announce team.

I hope Dolph ditches Vickie soon. Dolph is really coming into his own as an in-ring performer. Those matches with Daniel Bryan have been great to watch.
