What happened to the weight detection in this series?

That says it all. I could have swore this never happened in one of the SVR games. Did they take this feature out?

They couldn't do it right so they didn't do it at all.

I'm more curious as to why that wasn't a DQ.

How hard would it be to do it right? They had it in before.
The more you see things in this game, the more unfinished it seems.

It should be simple to get this right.

It definitely ruins the whole "realism" of the game.

I thought it was bad with some of the smaller male wrestlers doing it, but that is even more ridiculous.
          The Golf Club created courses:

Ashford Pines Golf Club (front 9)

          Full version release June 2016

Challenging course without the cheap gimmicks.

The only "weight detection" I've seen and read about, is that it's a slower process to pick up a heavier wrestler. But from that video, it just doesn't exist at all. How they didn't put this in place is amazing. As we all know, HT and WT is a HUGE factor in wrestling. This feature was in a few years ago (2007 ?)...it worked find then. DOR (day of reckoning) had a great concept for this. If you tried to pick up a wreslter beyond your "strength", there would be a meter you would have to fill in order to slam them.

It was perfect. Smash the button until the move was pulled, or your wrestler tired, or the other wrestler reveresed it.

Very hard apprently. We'd end up with something like RVD not being able to lift Sheamus again.

See RVD has to be a lightweight to have his proper speed rating and Sheamus has to be a heavyweight to have his proper power rating. They'd either have to remove the caps which they don't seem intrested in doing or make it for each wrestler invidually.

                That seems easy...

But then again, THQ manage to turn UFC into a stink bomb

Just add a Middleweight class. Guys here would be agile enough to keep up with the Lightweights but still possess enough strength to be able to slam MOST Heavyweights. Obviously, we don't want to see RVD slamming Big Show, but he should be able to hit a slam on a guy like Cena or Edge.

I tell ya, Day of Reckoning had the best mode for this. You would attempt to pick up someone way heavier, and a "status meter" would appear. You would have to "button mash" to fill the meter by a certain time or the wrestler fell on top of you. This would happen if you were say a lightweight vs a heavyweight.

Again, for the guys saying that THQ is the issue and that they messed up both SVR and UFC. That's all on Yukes since they make both games.

Day of Reckoning was a good game and a good engine. And amazingly, Yukes made that game as well.

I wish that Weight detection would come back. If a 2D wrestling game like Fire Pro can do weight detection I think that a WWE game could.
