I hope you guys don't actually think that an electric current was actually being applied to Shane's body??? This is TV afterall and no way they'd take the chance of anything happening.

Electric current isn't going to pass through his jeans (need bare skin) and bottled water isn't a conductor of electric current since all the minerals are taken out of it... So those 2 things + whatever else they rigged so that current wouldn't pass through the clamps negated any harm to Shane.

Neither of us said anything about an actual current being applied.

I did notice something else from this past RAW, too. It involves Maven. He has been given quite a big push lately coming out with big name stars and not to mention a title shot against HHH a few weeks back. But something strange happened during the main event that I'm not sure whether it was intentional or not. Maven was running the opening of the match until Shawn Michaels gave him a HARD blind tag when he was running off the ropes. Then Maven was never heard from in the match again. I realize that his partners were two crowd pleasers such as Goldberg and HBK but it seemed like a harsh way to take him out of the match. Was this the real Shawn Michaels trying to teach the real Maven about how tag matches work or was it some subtle way to turn Maven heel (which would be odd because he is a tad softspoken)?

Wow, just as soon as I post this, I am reading a rumor he might join Evolution!
