As funny as that video is....I really miss that feud. It was so well-done and both of them played it perfectly.

I wonder if Legend Killer was the one filming that?

I would. I'd give anything to be able to enjoy wrestling that way again. That's why I hate WWE and TNA; I know what's going on, I always have, even when they weren't open about it... but at least they weren't shoving it in my face every telecast.

It's ******* absurd. It's almost like the wrestlers are standing in the ring saying to the audience, "I can't believe you ignorant morons actually pay to see this." Sports Entertainment is insulting. I can suspend disbelief... I can root for a wrestler in the same way I root for Jack Bauer or John McClain... but not if you're purposefully hitting me over the head with the kayfabe stick every segment.

Of course, it would have to be less predictable too. I have to honestly believe that Cena or Orton could be beaten clean in a Raw main event, otherwise I can't be invested in the match. Unfortunately, it's gotten to the point that they're so far from the "sports" side of Sports Entertainment that if a guy loses clean, he's instantly buried, so they have to avoid clean finishes at all costs.

That's what your $50 bucks is for. You get nothing more out of a WWE Pay Per View than the knowledge that there will be some finishes you didn't predict, and there'll be clean wins over stars. The matches aren't really any better other than that (except at SummerSlam or WrestleMania... all the one on ones at RR are undercards, and I refuse to count Survivor Series among the big ones anymore).

PS: I've heard TNA has PPVs too. I have been unable to verify this, as, like Aliens and Sasquatch, nobody credible has ever seen one.

There are two types of people on OS: Those who disagree with me, and those who agree.

The first kind is wrong. The second is superfluous.

The only difference between reality and fiction is that fiction needs to be credible.

...anyways, I thought for sure this thread would be dedicated to Punk's impression of Jeff that left his fans heartbroken. Also, the TLC and Smackdown Cage match capped off one great feud.

I hate how WWE builds someone up like Punk, then has him resort to almost nothing afterward. But keeps guys like Orton and Cena on top....

I like when the one guy said: 'Turn it into a Twist of Fate. Nope.'

That was fantastic! Full of genuine emotion and it wasn't even Wrestlemania! And I like Hardy, but CM Punk is my boy. When he cashed in my friend pretty much said "NOOOO!" and I was cheering like a little child. It was good stuff. Just like the last Jericho-HBK feud. It just went so well together...time to stop looking back on stuff. I'm watching tonights Smackdown now. Lmao.

Kinda random.....but when someone cashes in, why doesn't the champ just get themselves DQ'd?

The best thing about the feud was that everything Punk said about Hardy in his promos....was true.
