    Most pointless heel/face turn ever

Two caveats. Nothing from TNA or the last two and a half years of WCW. Mine would be Stone Cold's heel turn of 2001. Nobody wanted to boo him and even he admitted it was a mistake. And a not-so-close second goes to Demolition's 1988 face turn. Nothing about them screamed babyface but they turned anyway.
The New England Patriots cheated to win four Super Bowls.

Yeah, but at least the crowd got behind Demolition when they did turn. They got a huge reaction when they won the titles @ WM 6.

Sting and Goldberg's heel turns in WCW were terrible.

Randy Orton's first face turn (after he was kicked out of Evolution) was rushed and as a result, he never got over the way Batista did when he eventually turned on Evolution.

The every other week face/heel turns WCW had Bret Hart do was completely pointless and made Bret look terrible in the process.

While that was god aweful, it wasn't pointless. I think the reason it was rushed was so Orton could become the youngest World Champion in history and erase Brock Lesnar from the history books. While there was a point, I agree his 1st run was brutal. Dude has come a long way since then.

Matt Hardy. Nobody really cared about him anyway.

Rey's heel run with the Filthy Animals was pretty pointless. Taking away his mask left him unmarketable. Nobody was going to buy those awful horns he was wearing.

Kurt Angle reveals himself as Vince's mole and saves the WWF at Survivor Series. The next night, Kurt Angle is a heel.

                Does not compute.

The Stone Cold turn was terrible and remember when the Rock came back and tried to be a heel again.
                  Gaming hard since 1988

I have won like 25 Super Bowls in Madden so I am kinda a big deal.

Hollywood Rock was one of the best heel characters of all time and was a much needed refresher for him.

The Paranoid Rattlesnake was a great change of pace as well. Austin's 2001 was one of the best years of his career. A ton of great matches and promos. Its too bad that "What?" phrase never caught on.

                        Sarcasm, I hope.

Austin's my #1 of all time, fan-wise, but that was easily the worst thing the WWF ever had him do.

The best was "Big Evil" Undertaker getting fed up with it and telling the crowd to "say What? if you like to sleep with your own sister".

That's pretty much what I think of the people who still say it.

Heel Rock was hilarious; I thought he did some his best promo work in that 2003 run.
