Yeah, I still don't agree with the decision to put the title on Orton, but that was a good match and the finishing sequence was awesome.

Super Cena and Ultra Orton are both heavyweight champions?

      **OS implodes**

Seriously though, great match between the two and I'm excited to see how it plays out. As stale and one dimensional as his character has become, it is insane how over Orton is right now. While I liked him a trillion times better as a heel, I'm still a fan of his and am excited to see him work a program with Christian. I never get tired of the RKO out of nowhere and this didn't disappoint. Still my favorite finisher.

What's really sad though is that you could tell they were trying hard to play up the fact that "the Cinderella story is over", but the crowd wasn't really getting behind it. They were just so jacked that Orton won. There was a small chant for Christian near the end, but it never caught on and it was mostly quiet after Orton left. The crowd needs to get with it! Especially considering this is the most over he's ever been (riding in Edge's wake, so to speak). I hope the crowd gets behind him. Dumb move putting him against arguably the most over face in the E if you want to get fans behind him, but great move if the plan is to turn him heel. Either way, I'm excited because I like them both and they put on a great match.

Yes. What lovely matches we have to look forward to. They'll all end the same way with them forgetting they've just been getting beat on for 20 minutes, spring up with no damage and suddely hit their finisher. What fun! (Orton much, much, much worse than Cena.)

They just did Orton/Sheamus and Orton/Barrett so I'm not sure where they're going with this. Orton/Cody? Also not sure why they'd give Orton the belt in light of recent events. Yes it was planned weeks in advance but probably should've been a rewrite.

I, for one, would love to see Cody Rhodes get a shot at it.

Think about it. Rhodes has been on fire since just before New Years and he has a history with Orton as his lackey. I know it's the classic teacher vs. student type thing, but there can be an extra added twist to it with Rhodes' current gimmick. Plus, I just think Cody is that damn good and deserves the push he is getting... and more!

Ted DiBiase Jr. can take a long walk off of a short pier though. What a waste...

Cody Rhodes for president. I hope they don't waste the momentum he has by not doing anything with him. I think a Kane feud would be fun as long as he leaves his air trumpet at home.

Chavo ought to be a good first feud for Sin Cara. Maybe after this we will get Rhodes vs Sin Cara and Rhodes wins that and gets a title shot.

I understand Randall is insanely over with the crowd and all, but come on Vince. Christian has been in the company for over 10 years, was part of on the best tag teams ever, and you reward him with a 5 day title reign. C'mon Son.

While people are understandably irate at WWE for how they handled Christian's token "reign", I'm going to wait and see how this one plays out. I have a feeling Christian will be getting the title back soon (2 time champion is a nicer reward for the guy) and who knows, we may get an awesome feud and heel turn from Orton or Christian out of it! The thing that bugs me, is while I admittedly wish everyone was heel, objectively it doesn't make sense to turn either of these guys. It makes sense because Smackdown needs a legit main event heel, but if that's the case, the draft should have spread them out better as both Christian and Orton are more ever than they've ever been as faces.

I have a feeling this is a part of something bigger so I'm going to withhold judgment... for now. WWE has burned me in the past when I give them the benefit of the doubt, but as soon as it's apparent that the WWE just used Christian to get a belt back on Smackdown I'll be mad, but I have a feeling there's something bigger in store with this.

I could see these guys having a good feud w. matches over the next few PPVs and perhaps Christian winning the title back. But I do think that Jericho will come back eventually and we'll see Jericho/Orton feud over the title heading into Summerslam.

The Bryan/Sheamus match deserves some props too. Bryan countering the slingshot shoulder into the LeBell Lock was great, as was the Brogue Kicks to finish him off. I always expect good to great things from Bryan but Sheamus is able to have good matches with anyone as well. Sin Cara should really benefit from a feud with Chavo. Those Rhodes boys know how to bring it with their characters and promos. SmackDown proves its still the best wrestling show on television. Adding Jericho and Batista would just be icing on the cake.

I always thought longer runs were better. As someone said to Booker when he was doing his thing, think it was Christian actually, maybe Edge..."That just means you lost it 5 times." Think I'd take RVD's ECW TV title run over winning twice for a week. If he does win it back that just makes this pointless.

Agreed, that was a great match. The Brogue kick counter to the suicide dive was just awesome. The Sin Cara/Chavo could be reminiscent to the Rey/Eddy matches.

Good point. One long run would be better than two short ones, but I guess my main point is we don't know what's going to happen with this. I'm going to wait before calling for Vince's head though.

Christian already lost the title? Just wonderful.

Why even have him win it then? I was genuinely excited for him but now I'm so disappointed.

One of the problems with wrestling: a guy can hold a title for 52 weeks in one reign, or hold it 12 times over his career for a total of 52 weeks.

Even though the second guy has lost the title numerous times, he will be much more lauded than the first guy. It should really be the other way round.

Even with Christian as heel and Jericho as face it would be awesome - possibly better

I'm biased though - I'll lap up any show with Christian or Jericho on it!
