On that note as well, I'm officially a total Wade Barrett mark. He's shot up to my favorite current superstar. Not even fully sure why, have liked him a lot since NXT with his jacket/rose gimmick.

I love this new group sans the whole Slater thing, who isn't as annoying as he used to be, but still sucks.

Someone said it earlier, but Corre in Spanish means "Run". As in meaning, they run the show.

I guess the meaning is "It Runs". WTF! LOL!

I don't know why, but I HATE the name "Corre" (and how it's spelled), and I hate their music. I also hate their dynamic with having "no leader". Wade was best as an unquestioned dictator who ruled with an iron fist. It fit him so perfectly. Plus, even with it being fake I find it hard to suspend my disbelief and believe any of the other three are on his level. I understand that Wade is still the man and is telling them what they want to hear to keep them around, but I liked the more ruthless dictator.

What I LOVED about the Corre was the interaction with Ted, Vickie, Dolph, and Edge. They are already in the thick of things, and realize that by taking out Teddy they get to run the show behind Vickie. It was just played out so perfectly.

Dolph was very entertaining on commentary. I'm definitely starting to come around on him, which is weird. I usually love heels almost instantaneously, but he took much longer for me to warm up to. I just loved his interactions with the boys in the booth.

Miz on Smackdown was weird. It really seemed pointless to me. Of course he was A+ in his delivery, I enjoyed seeing him (like always), but there was no point in his being there.

I love Alberto Del Rio randomly coming out with his grand entrance just to say it's his destiny to win the Rumble (he's starting to make me believe). The look on Corre's face (like, "who is this clown!?") was awesome.

I never get tired of Swaggers amateur challenges. I love watching him toy with opponents. Great end to add fuel to the rivalry. Glad it's going to continue.

Having Rey break Dashing's nose is the BEST way to turn this into a real heated rivalry. Ish just got real. Also, it'll allow Cody to wear a ridiculous looking mask or something. I'm excited.

Agreed with your entire post, though I've liked Ziggler for a long while.

The name is so dumb, I don't care what it means. And the music is horrible. Doesn't instill any fear or strength.

Wade is definitely one of my favorites overall. He's everything Steven Regal should have been, and THEN some.

He was an original member of Nexus. He was kicked out the night after Cena joined. (he actually had a groin injury and they worked him out of the storyline)

Is he an Ezekiel Jackson type of player in the grouo, in that he can be a main event type guy. Or is he more of a Heath Slater type. lol

Oh, and put me in the crowd that thinks that the "Corre's" music sucks big time. The first time Wade came out to it, I was like "Yall couldnt come up with no better theme music for that man that this?"

I think Slater is actually better in the ring, but Tarver has the better look and possibly better on the mic.

Just watched the video of the Corre beating down Big Show, and one thing came to mind:

Does Gabriel ever NOT hit the 450 perfectly? He has that thing down to a science. Kidman could take a lesson or twelve.

I watched this week's Smackdown this morning.

Random thoughts...

- Booker T was god awful on commentary. Where was Matt Striker!!?

[Wrestler goes to hit a big move] "He's going to do it, he's going to do it! Don't do it! HE DID IT! Aw man, he did it!"

- I'm excited Booker's going to be a trainer on Tough Enough. Should be a much better fit.

- I told everyone in the Raw thread they would be running 02-21-11 promos on both shows most likely. So it could still be the Undertaker.

- There's something about Kelly Kelly's new gimmick that I really like.

- The title match had a very predictable ending (Kelly hitting the Spear)

- Del Rio was gold again. Dude just has it. Always entertaining to me. Hell, even in the ring with Hornswoggle I was entertained... no easy feat. "Bring the pinata down to this... Thing level". "I want to share all of this with my friends here in... uh... [Ricardo whispers in his ear]... New Jersey!! I hope that Ricardo telling Del Rio where they are at becomes a regular part of his shtick. I loved it!

- Corre is starting to bore me without Wade being the ruthless dictator of the group. We need more Wade!

- Zeke was impressive lifting Show again (though it was very deja vu)... not so much on the mic. I loved Booker's response to his gibberish. He was as confused as I was.

- Interesting having only two faces in the Chamber match. Really the only two guys with a shot at winning. Both have history with Del Rio. I don't like either of them, so I don't care to see the match. I hope Del Rio beats whoever comes out of the Chamber at Mania.

- It'll be funny if Dolph Ziggler loses AGAIN to Edge with the odds heavily in his favor next week. No spear, Handicapped Match, Special Guest Referee match... Dolph cannot win. If I was Edge (playing the tweener), I'd immediately grab a chair and swing for the fences. Put Vickie to a decision. Stop the match, award Dolph the victory, but have Edge walk out champion yet again. Or, sit there and watch him continue to get beat down.

I will cut Book some slack since it was his first show. It's going to take him a few weeks to get into the groove and study some film on the wrestlers. I'm sure he wasn't really keep tabs on what was happening in WWE while he was away.

The Kelly-Kelly angle was intriguing but my gosh, she is so bad delivering her lines.

The more I watch that 2-21-11 stuff I get the feeling it's just to hype up the return of The Undertaker. They showed that thing 2-3 times last night.

Del Rio is so awesome. I really hope he wins the title @ WM.

I also hope they find something meaningful for Swagger to do. I'm sick of him losing every week.

The Corre just comes off as a real generic group right now.

The point is that 2-21-11 is Monday Night Raw, regardless of when the commercials run, Im sure they run during anything wwe.
