I don't really know if this is worthy of it's own thread or not, but here's the match types:

Cage matches look like a helluva lot of fun.

Based on that video, and what we've seen so far, are we getting 3 attires for Savage?

I'm debating if I should add this to my GF que or not.......is there some kind of single player career or fighting up a ladder system? Is this mainly just exhibition type fighting matches?

It's nice to see that the Road Warriors are in this and too bad there was no Demolition also.

I wish they would have just made another legends of wrestlemania game instead of this. They had a great base with that game just needed some more legends and some sort of career mode.

There's a special controller out there for this game. It looks pretty badass, I must say.

It looks like a fighting controller set up, which makes sense.

It's a fightpad. They have them for SF as well.

Should we be using this topic for impressions of the full game or will that be another topic?

Someone got it early. 3 of the hype vids (from a camera phone):

                        Re: WWE All Stars (360/PS3)

I received my review copy of the game yesterday from THQ. Since there doesn't appear to be any embargo on impressions (reviews are embargoed until Tuesday), I'll give my .02 and try to answer any questions if I can.

My first impression is that this game rocks!!! If you've played the demo, you know what to expect gameplay-wise. I love how each wrestler feels unique and you have to adjust your play style to match your character's strengths and take advantage of your opponents weaknesses. I took SCSA against Rey Mysterio and just pummeled him into oblivion with strikes. But when I tried that approach with John Morrison against Hulk Hogan, I got destroyed.

The game has a nice flow to it and the momentum is great -- there's nothing like reversing a big move and turning the tide of the match in your favor. I don't like that there are only 20 guys unlocked at the start and no alternate costumes. I'm guessing additional wrestlers and outfits have to be unlocked by playing through one of the three Path of Champions storylines. I started the Undertaker one and ran into three locked Legends right away -- Eddie Guerrero, Jimmy Snuka and Mr. Perfect. However they haven't been unlocked yet so it looks like you have to finish the story to get the rewards.

Anyway, I'll be on here for a while if anyone has any questions.

Can you load your own music into the game for CAW's?

No, no custom music. Only choices are six generic ones and those already assigned to people in the game. And entrances are tied into music, so you can't give your guy the DX theme and Rocky's entrance animation.

                              Very disappointing.

Not a game killer by any means, but would have loved to use my music to make Flair or what not.

Oh well, entrances seem pretty short anyway. I know 2nd attires are locked anyway, but I'm guessing that means that no nWo entrance for Hollywood Hogan attire.

                              Thanks!

Yeah, entrances are only like 5-10 seconds long. Still it would be a nice option to have. I'm going through the Undertaker's Path of Champions now hoping to finally unlock some stuff. It doesn't tell you what you have to do to unlock wrestlers, attires, etc.
