Knowing the WWE, Punk and Jericho will probably jerk the curtain.

Well, the WHC match did last year so you never know.

I think if they do end up having a MitB match this year then that should start off the show.

Dont get me started on that. They should already be destroying the tag team division since there isnt one and win the tag belts at WM 28. Why Vince always takes the best wrestlers and makes them crap is beyond me. After all, its not like they would do anything in TNA anyway. I was hoping for a heel group down the line consisting of Punk, Hero, Claudio and Danielson but thats not going to happen. Oh well.

And on a side note, the Rock/Cena match should be the final match at WM because wrestling wise, if the Jericho/Punk and Sheamus/Danielson matches get time, no way in hell would the Rock/Cena match equal or surpass either one of the championship matches. If either or both of the championship matches go after Rock/Cena, the crowd will be burnt out from that match and not even care about either or both championship matches.

It is awful at first appearance but as I previously explained in another topic it's actually pretty good/clever.

IMO, having any title match jerk the curtain devalues the title in question.

                    Been thinking about this...

With it do obvious that Cena should win... What if Rock wins? What would be the effect of a Rocky win.

As it stands the WWE is in a situation where you will have Rock lose in Miami. The boos would be worse than ECW ONS.

                      Re: WrestleMania XXVIII

Actually, I can see a scenario in which The Rock does win, although I think Cena WILL win.

If Rock wins... it would probably send Cena (storyline wise) to a place he hasn't been in recent memory. He'd have an actual tale of redemption, culminating in a rematch at Wrestlemania the next year. He'd mostly star in stuff outside of the ring, and he could travel to all kinds of places, learning all kinds of things.

The reason some people boo Cena is because WWE shoves him down their throats. If he stepped away to do this, he'd probably gain a lot of fans back, just in time for the next Wrestlemania, where he could beat Rock in a very climactic match.

Again, I don't see WWE's writers having the guts to have Cena lose in that match. But it would be rather interesting...

A month ago, I was sick of hearing of The Rock and Cena... but after recent events, I'm actually more excited for the match.

I can see Rock winning if Cena attacks afterwards.

The problem with that, being that I think that would constitute a heel turn.

I just don't see Cena going heel. WWE is too stubborn on keeping him as Superman.

Per WWE.com there will be a 12-Man tag team match to decide the unanimous GM of both RAW and Smackdown. Participants of both team Teddy and team Excitement are going to be selected in the upcoming weeks.

Johnny's team loses, and I riot.

Let Johnny control both shows and Teddy embark on a new career as valet for Aksana's new flourishing Diva's career.

I can't remember a time when Teddy Long wasn't old, so it is about time he retired anyway. He will be 65 this year. Man, I first remember him as a ref with Krusty the Clown hair (a la Ron Washington) and then as a heel manager known as "Peanut Head" back in the day. This is in the mid to late 80s. I'd say it is about time he settled down and called it a career. He has done a lot of the business though.
