    Re: Over the Limit 5/22/11

Really a shame what happened to Miz. IF he's going to lose to Cena at least have someone help Cena out so Miz isn't essentially losing a handicap match.

Honestly I feel if Rock never got involved in all of this Miz would still have the title. Before Rocky WWE seemed intent on making Miz the heel version of Cena (always finding a way to win) but suddenly the whole Rock thing pops up and now Miz is losing these matches.

Either way, they have built Cena up so much there is no way he's saying I Quit. I guess thats why the Attitude era was so great, you didn't expect Mankind to say 'I Quit' but he did.

Orton v Christian was easily the best match of the night.

Guys....this IS the most predictable year for WWE....they have a year to build up Cena vs Rock for WM....what are they going to do? How about Cena defend the tittle against all odds (NPI) and all comers until WM then Rock takes the title away...that seems to be the plan to sell this as yet another "Greatest WM Ever".......This could be a good year for TNA or Impact as it's called now....but then again, they have Vince Russo.

Drew doesn't take a backseat,he's not even in the same parking lot.

Well at least it had Bret Hart, other that umm...

Orton/Christian was good but it takes away when you know who'll win. Truth/Rey wasn't bad. Chavo botched the ending. Nexus jobbed out again. Hope they're going somewhere with this Corre thing. Miz and Riley put on a fantastic show only to have it ruined with the worst ending I've ever seen in an I Quit match and Miz getting screwed by a ref again. (The ref's desicion is only final when convienant ) I hope Cena is ok,looks like they botched that Chair Crushing Finale pretty badly, unless that's how it was supposed to be. People have been seriously injured with less.

Oh someone asked what happend...Miz and A-Ri brutally beatdown Cena for 20 minutes,Cena went through 3 of his 5 moves of doom at the start of the match and got a few punches in but that was it,chairshot to the head and A-Ri played Cena yelling "I QUUUIITTT" on his cellphone from Raw. The ref found the recorder while awarding Miz the title and restarted the match. Cena magically recovered to full again as if none of that just happend,AA'd A-Ri through the table, whipped Miz with his belt, put him in the STF and Miz quit.

if you are a veteran WWE fan and havent figured this formula out by now, you must have eaten paint chips as a child, or adult...this is how they do Cena. always have, always will. kinda like some guy named Terry.

im sure some guardian of the old school will come running and tell me i have no idea what im talking about, and that all/most hulks matches where 100x better. well, it wasnt. this is the product. always has been.
I think the biggest difference is that when Hogan was doing it, you saw Hogan wrestle on TV about 7 or 8 times a year, PPVs included. So it didn't get old as fast as seeing Cena do it every single week.

              Disagree.

The Attitude era was not like this. This was pretty much a filler PPV. Back in the 90s there was no such thing since WCW was right there pushing WWE to have actual surprises and intrigue going into the next show.

OK, I'm glad I decided to skip this one. I'll probably rent the DVD to check out the good stuff, but I'm happy I didn't spend $45 on that.

I'm guessing ADR's push is going to grind to a halt because after Miz he's the only heel big enough to feud with Cena now.

Not even worth that. I guess on the brightside they can only go up from here.

No wonder I stopped recording RAW and buying PPV's for the last three years. Now they're re-hashing stuff that longtime fans (like myself) remember.

Good grief. Vinnie Mac must be officially retired; WWE hasn't been the same since he disappeared following his beat down at the hands of Nexus.

Whoever's in charge needs help. A lotta help.

I have watched wrestling for 20yrs on and off and although your comparison to Hulk is spot on i have just had enough. Add Randy Orton to the mix and its just unbearable, he is like Cena light and his gimmick is just flat out terrible.

R-truth and Rey Mysterio are another two who are brutal, Truth can hardly even speak never mind wrestle.

I really cant see the WWE having Rock win although he should because he has more talent in his pinky than Cena has in his whole body
