Usually I'd agree with you about not overreacting, but when you've booked these guys so strongly for the past month now, and booked it that Cena HAS to go outside of the WWE and bring in a guy he doesn't even like to take them down, then have Cena get both of them down pretty easily last night, makes it look like Cena could have picked Santino as his partner and still won.

I'm not upset that Cena won the actual match, but the way he took them down even after they tried ganging up on him makes them look incompetent. Maybe I need to rewatch and it isn't as bad as I thought, but last night I thought it was poor booking for it to go down like that.

And of course the chances are slim to none that Miz/Truth were and are going over clean anyways. But its about building momentum and keeping on track. You book Miz and Truth up as these guys who can't be stopped single-handedly, then have them stopped single handedly last night by Cena.

If this had been the go-home show then I would agree that it didn't make sense. But we still have weeks to go. If Miz and Truth jump Cena next then they're right back on top. If Cena continues to beat on them over the next few weeks then that would be dumb, but I highly doubt they will.

Again, you guys need to stop pretending that each Raw exists in a vacuum. Look at the bigger picture. Every good rivalry has both sides winning not one side dominating all the time. Cena had to get a least one victory in.

And let's be honest. It's the Rock and Cena. If we're gonna play who could beat who, in what world would Miz and Truth ever have a shot at beating them? Everyone already knows it'll go one of two ways. Rock and Cena go over clean and give the crowd something to cheer for. Or Rock screws Cena to further their feud. Did you really think Miz and Truth have a shot to go over clean?
Cena dominated them by himself in the handicap match last week too though so this wasn't a one week thing here. I'm guessing the 3 hour Raw in 2 weeks will end with a Miz/Truth beatdown on both Cena and Rock which will at least make them look like somewhat of a credible threat.

The Muppets were good and they interacted with the right wrestlers, many of whom are the cartoony ones.

God, the Rock is mega corny right now and is just mailing it in. I wish the fans would boo him, but they won't because Cena is cornier. If Cena brings his serious routine and drops the corny act, I'll be 100% behind him putting down "Team Bring It" at Mania. He doesn't even have to go heel. I'll still cheer him over this shell of The Rock.

The Cole challenge being put off is like having a painful root canal rescheduled. It's like, "can we please just get this over with?"

Cody and Wade are both in my top 5. Teaming them up intrigued me but 1) they need something to unify them (See: Awesome Truth, Swiggler) 2) I don't want another person holding a singles title competing in the tag division (Ziggler, and now Rhodes). Finally, all that said, I hate Air Boom and was glad my guys won

Del Rio was absolute gold. I love that kind of heel booking. I would have had that be the entire SS build honestly. Punk trying to jump through hoops, and Del Rio always cheating him. Then Punk FINALLY gets his shot and gets to vent his pent up frustrations on him.

Del Rio losing to the Big Show is not that big of a deal (this coming from one of ADR's biggest fans). Is Big Show not the #1 contender who took the most dominant World Heavyweight Champion in a while to a draw? Does he not deserve any momentum going into his title match as well? I swear, sometimes if your name isn't Bryan, Sheamus, Ryder, or Punk you aren't allowed to win a match ever or else the bad guy is dead and buried. Personally, I liked having an actual clean finish on free TV with two main event guys, instead of the usual, "neither can lose, so lets have Henry cause a DQ"

I could have done without the whole Del Rio tapping out right after getting knocked out, but I still think he's coming out of SS with the strap even though people think he's being "berried" (shouts to DB, lol).

I said in the Vengeance thread that Ryder is ready. While he is ready, chasing is a MUCH better role for him and something I hope they keep up for awhile. Mid card titles haven't meant much up until recently, but Zack is doing more for the U.S. title by not having it. When he finally does get it, it is going to be a huge moment boosting his stock and that of the title.

I also don't think it's an overreaction to call Cena beating on both Miz and Truth 2 weeks in a row bad booking. rangerrick said it all really. The idea that Cena has to reach out to his greatest enemy to overcome this force was where the story lied. Now the partnering with Rock makes no sense as Cena can do it alone.

          As far as the execution....

I'd of rather had Rock tease us in the beginning like he did, state both sides of his argument like he did, and tell Cena, "I'll let you and the whole Cenation sweat it out for a while and you'll get my answer when I'm good and damn ready.... if you smellll...."

Then in the main event have the Rock's music hits distracting Cena either during the match (causing the Miz victory) or after the match (causing the Truth beatdown).

"John, John, JOHN!! That looked like it hurt there" Miz and Truth smile at the Rock thinking he gave them the assist and won't team with Cena. Then the Rock says, "Truth, Miz... you just beat down one of the biggest Jabronis in the WWE. Congratulations. Madison Square Garden, in front of the millions, AND millions of the The Rock's fans....that isn't going to happen. Because for the first time ever, live on PPV, The Rock and John Cena team up to whip both your candy asses!!!"

As Awesome Truth is distracted, Cena grabs a chair and clears the ring. His music hits and he stares at the titantron, mouthing, "I'm here.... every week"

They needed to have R-Truth and The Miz show up and beat up Rock while he was doing his schtick via satellite. Rock has no beef with R-Truth and The Miz. He should actually be enjoying watching Cena get destroyed. They needed to create that beef before he accepted.

So we see three title holders lose clean on one show? Okay.

My son and I love the Muppets, but I wasn't sure how this would turn out. We both loved it. So glad to see that:

                          A) They are letting Sheamus get creative with his character. The bit with Beaker was outstanding.

                          B) Having Beaker help Santino made my son pop big time...especially since almost everything Beaker touches usually hurts him

                          C) I loves me some Eve, but it seems like they do not know what to do with her. She is NOT the female Stone Cold for goodness sake.
