Yes, you have to group wrestlers together and form a tag team before they can compete for the titles. You can't just throw two random people together and put them in a tag title match. As far as singles titles, I haven't seen any problems. I've been able to put anyone I want in a title match. What kind of problems is he seeing?

Re: WWE 12 Retail Impressions
Played one game before I had to run into work. Triple Threat Match between Zack Ryder, John Morrison, and R-Truth (me) on default. This game definitely plays better than the last SvR in my opinion straight out of the box.
The match had a couple of nearfalls and barely broken up pins. I hit the lie detector once on Ryder but Morrison broke the pin up and Ryder hit me with three rough ryders and just could not put me away thanks to Morrison. I was finally able to win after Ryder landed a Rough Ryder on Morrison and I snuck him from behind to roll him up for the win. I'll delve more into the game when I get home from work, grocery shopping, errands, etc.Favorite Teams:

Re: WWE 12 Retail Impressions
I'm not sure how it is with places like Walmart, where you can't pre-order the game. Maybe they don't get copies with the code in it. But, if Target is advertising that they have the Rock, then maybe Walmart will too.Comment

I don't know how it is this year, but Bret Hart was the exclusive DLC last year, and I DIDN'T preorder the game. I got it from Best Buy, and it had the Bret Hart code with it.

I'd imagine, provided the game doesn't sell out in the first few days, that The Rock code will be in the box. I bought SVR last year online (Thanksgiving sale) and got the Bret Hart code, even though I didn't pre-order.Currently Playing:

No, Target has the game for $47.....and Walmart will price match it with the add.Comment

Re: WWE 12 Retail Impressions
In another thread, someone posted that Target is selling it for $47 later next week. And Amazon offers a $10 gift card, but you won't get the game for upwards of a week because they seem to have problems getting the game.Comment

Re: WWE 12 Retail Impressions
Walmart DOES have preorder special for The Rock. All you guys have to do is check online at all of the stores you guys have questions about. It's actually quicker to look online than to ask questions in here (and of course get wrong answers)Comment

Re: WWE 12 Retail Impressions
But if you preorder at Walmart, there was no way to pick it up the day of; everything I found said it would be shipped to your house or to the store on the 22nd, which means you won't get it for a few days. If it is otherwise, it changed in the past couple of weeks since I preordered.Comment

I believe you can pick it up in-store. I have ordered from Walmart in the past and they notoriously give you a different date than the launch date, BUT I have always received the package on the launch date. I don't know why they do that. I ordered from Best Buy in-store pickup (had zone points). DLC/$10 off coupon, etc. included.Comment

Re: WWE 12 Retail Impressions
Yeah but so does Best Buy. I've had them price match for various products several times in the past at least in Canada they do. And it's almost guaranteed that Best Buy will have the Rock copies for at least the 1st week because the batches they order will all be preorder copies to cover any late preorders.Last edited by Seymour Scagnetti; 11-19-2011, 05:26 PM.Comment

Re: WWE 12 Retail Impressions
You have 48 hours to pick up it up. I even have picked it up on the Monday night if there is a new guy working and doesn't know any better.Comment

Yea, and unless Gamestop is on your way home from work or something like that, I wouldn't waste the gas and take the chance. I'm just picking it up Tuesday night. Mix in some grading and some wrestling over the holiday.Comment
