Re: WWE 12 Retail Impressions
Aside from some of the basic submission holds, yeah. At the very least, I haven't seen anything that has jumped out at me as being really bad. Some guys are more accurate than others, but that's to be expected. If anything, some guys will probably need to have their move sets reduced because they have too many moves.Comment

I'm in the same boat as you. Sounds like a good idea for a thread, actually. Maybe someone can compile a list of file names so that people can find the best ones without having to search through the whole database.Comment

good idea....how do we start threads on here? I'm relatively new.Comment

Yes, the shows open up with pyro and everything. In between matches, you get a screen showing the next match while the game loads. It's just the same graphics they show on TV. Looks pretty cool actually. All of the cutscenes/storyline stuff I've seen happens once a match begins or after it ends and before you advance to the next match.Texas A&M Aggies

Re: WWE 12 Retail Impressions
Just a couple of random things here ...
You have to have a minimum of 15 people on your brand's roster in Universe mode in order to have a show. I was curious to see if I could transfer everyone over to Raw, and I received message telling me that I couldn't move anyone else from Smackdown over to Raw because there has to be a minimum of 15. You can remove all the Divas from a brand. I did put everyone else on Raw, though, so it doesn't look like there's a cap on the number of people you can have on any one brand, only a minimum of 15.
You can edit the card for a show to include members of both brands. This includes title matches. So if you want someone from Smackdown to compete for the U.S. title on Raw, you can do that. But the Universe won't generate matchups like that on its own.
By the same token, if the U.S. title is on Raw and it's won by a guy assigned to Smackdown, the U.S. title will not replace the minor championship on Smackdown, nor will Smackdown guys appear in the rankings for the U.S. title. It is still a Raw championship, only held by a person from a different brand.
Resetting a superstar in Universe mode doesn't affect their momentum or attributes. It only returns them to their original brand and default crowd reaction.
I still have yet to see an injury in Universe mode, though I haven't played many actual matches in it. I can say with near certainty that injuries don't happen if you sim, or if they do, you aren't alerted to when they occur.
To clarify the difference between brands and shows -- there can be up to 12 different brands in your Universe, but there are only three shows -- two main shows (Monday and Friday) and a secondary show (Thursday). These shows can feature talent from any combination of those brands, or all of them, with the exception being the two main shows can't draw from the same brand. For example, you can't include the Smackdown roster on the Raw show (there are ways around this that I've already discussed elsewhere in this thread). This is also true if you assign the WCW brand to Monday and the ECW brand to Friday. WCW guys won't show up on ECW and vice versa, but the secondary show will draw from whatever rosters are currently active -- in this example, WCW and ECW. I'm sorry if I made this sound more confusing than it really is, but I know some people were asking how this works.
I've tried to answer as many questions as I can here, and I've covered quite a bit of ground. But if anyone still has any questions, I'll do my best to answer.Comment

Re: WWE 12 Retail Impressions
Sorry if this has been covered, but I searched the thread and couldn't find it. I was wondering what show does Universe start on. Like is it the first Raw of the year or something else? Also, do you have to have a title match to change the belts, or can you just assign them. For instance, if you want ADR to be the champ, does he have to beat whoever starts with the title, or can you just assign him as the champ before your Universe starts. Thanks for the help.Comment

Re: WWE 12 Retail Impressions
Yeah, you can turn the draft off altogether. I'm not sure about PPVs, though. I think both brands are represented there, though you could just edit the matches to suit your liking.Comment
