so let me get this straight. u TECHNICALLY only CONTROL ONE superstar in universe mode (although u can play as others)?

can u change who u control at any point in universe mode?
can u add & remove superstars, CAWS at any point in universe mode?
can replace shows at any point in universe mode?

It's called Universe for a reason. You are not one single person. You can choose to control a single person, but nothing says you have to. It can be an open-ended story mode. It can be a GM mode. It can be whatever the hell you want.

You have total control over every superstar in Universe mode. If you want to just play as one guy, you can. But it isn't like a sports game where you pick one guy and follow his career. And you can make changes to your Universe at any time. I was in my third year, I believe, when I decided to make Superstars into NXT.

Think of Universe Mode as a big sandbox that has tools you can use to create just about any wrestling world you want.

Can I edit the entire card change every match then play through the show using stream flow.

Some people say you have to play the edited match straight away whilst other such as yourself or caws.ws say you can edit the entire card without having to play an edited match up straight away

dont suppose you could clear this up for me?

i understand that ANYONE is playable but im asking if you control EVERYONES decisions, do you control the superstar that you've selected FOR THAT MATCH or do you simply control EVERYONE & ALL OF THEIR DECISIONS?

its not clear to someone who has NEVER played the newer games as from articles & in this thread things seem to happen with players that you are NOT controlling also.

& as far as the other questions about when u can add or remove wresters... any answers on that one. im one to prepare before hand to enjoy at realease

There aren't any decisions to be made, all the cutscenes are done randomly for every wrestler even if you aren't wrestling. What do you mean by decisions though?

Same here. I was going to preorder yesterday to be safe but I saw the Target ad says the Rock is included so I'll be picking it up Tuesday morning for $47 also.

I think he's looking at this game from a franchise mode perspective like madden or 2K12.

So to answer that person's question. Everything is controlled by the universe as in what the next match is, it's all contingent on whether you have won or lost as to what match the universe puts you in. But every match you can enter as any wrestler. So like someone said the universe is your sandbox and what you choose to do with any or all wrestlers is up to you. There is no personal achievements or training with any particular wrestler nor is there any story mode where you have to make any decisions, it simply goes from card to card and is totally customizable as you see fit.

If you wanna play as Brock Lesner and fight all his matches for a month you can. If you want to play every match on all the cards with any wrestler you choose then you can. For me I would control 3 or 4 wrestlers and play the matches that the universe gives me and if I get bored with those guys then I would switch to somone else.

you guys have answered my question... i do NOT like a "franchise mode" or Road to wrestlemania, so this is perrrrfect. i was probably making it a LOT more complicated then it actually was.

as far as entering in other CAW & wrestlers at ANY point, is that possible?

Is there any reason to get the 360 version over PS3? I prefer the PS3 controller but if 360 usually has a lot more CAW to download, I would go that route...

I have a quick question about created wrestlers. I basically have spent most of the afternoon thinking of a CAW heavy universe. Raw would be an Attitude era Raw with the old arena/belts/wrestlers,

I would throw Nitro on a Tuesday (back in the day in Canada it was delayed until Tuesday anyways) and use WCW era wrestlers.

Friday would be Smackdown which would have all current WWE performers and all the current belts.

Now the CAW creation stuff looks excellent and the custom entrance music pushes it over the edge but my question is do people create 'saves' or 'save packs' with all the CAWs and the custom music put together in one convienent save or will I need to download each wrestler and entrance song individually?

Sorry for the long post. This game is already starting to take over and I don't even have it yet.
